Janet is tired of being ignored during the biggest game of the year, and she decides to take it upon herself to provide some alternate entertainment for the guys.
Constance studied British Literature and the Classics in college, only later realizing she probably would have been much happier if she had just majored in sex education. Now, Constance is blending her two favorite forms of expression, writing and sex, to embark on her own idea of a humanitarian mission: to help the teeming multitudes get off, one story at a time.
Daley has managed to write another relatable erotica character, which means I’m definitely going to keep reading her stuff. Halftime Show uses a wife’s want for her husband’s attention as the main conflict of the book. The wife, sick of being ignored does the only thing that will (almost guaranteed) get a husband’s attention—get naked. The catch? It’s Super Bowl Sunday and all his friends are in the house. I love how Janet goes from completely unhappy and insecure to a sexually confident woman who takes what she wants.
