1 star -- did not finish
This is Andy Shaw's story of how he went bankrupt and got out of it. Yeah. If you read this book as a biography it is not too disappointing.
The book is a blend of Think and Grow Rich, the law of attraction and some mindfulness. I believe some people are into this, but really, this is not for me.
What made me drop the book: the author's subtle and constant blame towards his targetted audience. Here's what I mean:
"I would imagine that you have started to apply the 15 seconds of positive thought; after all the layers I have applied, I’d be surprised if you hadn’t given it a go. If you didn’t, by the way, then that is a dangerous sign as you are seriously fighting change. Until you decide to allow change to happen then your chances of success are, in my opinion, virtually non-existent. If you cannot decide to help yourself and think about one of the most wonderful moments of your life, then you have to of course consider why not? So I suggest you consider that for a while if you are serious about creating the life you desire." (chapter 3)
