The story of a boy who blushes too much (except when he has a good reason to) and must suffer others incessant remarks about his condition. He befriends a boy who sneezes too much (who likewise suffers constant remarks about the "cold" he doesn't have). They're the best of friends until one day his friend moves away without notice. Martin would be able to contact his friend (his friend having left his new address on a slip of paper for him) if only Martin's father would stop complaining about bills and paperwork long enough to find it for him. ...He never does, and years and years go by until the two friends meet again on a crowded city bus. As Sempe remarks, old friends usually say they'll make plans to see one another again, and they usually even mean this... but it doesn't pan out for lots of grown up reasons. But that isn't the case with these guys. Which is nice. But I also like the Sempe points out the more common, sad reality. When he started to talk about what usually happens between old friends I actually started to get nervous that the story would just end like that... neither of them caring enough to REKINDLE WHAT THEY ONCE HAD.
BUT THEY DO, THEY DO.
Right. So. Hilarious drawings. If you find a copy of this in front of your face you should absoluely READ IT.
