Foolish Hearts

Happily ever afters don't exist for women like me.

My move to Clearhaven hadn't turned out like I had imagined. Tormented by the sins of my father, I tried to run away. Instead of the freedom I thought I would gain, I was trapped by someone determined to have me at any cost.
Would the men I thought would break me, the lesser of two evils, find me before it was too late, or would fate damn me?

Celeste Night detests writing in third person , so….
I am a romance author living somewhere outside of Birmingham, AL with my husband, two children, two dogs, three cats, and a partridge in a pear tree. I studied psychology in undergrad and thought I was going to be a therapist. Even when I was young, I would weave crazy stories and as I grew older dabbled in fan fiction. I never imagined that I would write a novel, much less publish it, so the journey has been amazing!
My relationship with the infamous Mr. Night was ripped straight out of the pages of a book (complete with angst and drama) and one day I might fictionalize that. I love morally gray (sometimes morally black) men and memes. When I’m not plotting imaginary murders or dreaming up my next favorite book boyfriend, I enjoy reading and playing video games (looking at you Stardew Valley). My favorite holiday is Halloween and my favorite color is black. I love possums because I also wake up screaming each morning.

⭐ Steamy Goodness ✔
⭐Suspense / Revelations✔
⭐Fantastic Storyline / Great Pace & Flow✔
⭐Story that evokes all the emotions✔
⭐Five fantastic main characters with great supporting characters✔

Foolish Hearts has all of the above, and much more. It is the 2nd book of The Forsaken Series. The 1st book is Flawed Hearts which I thought was a great read, however the follow up is so much more of everything. My eyes were glued to the pages. Book 2 surpassed my expectations. I loved it and highly recommend.😊🖤

I eagerly await Book 3. 😊

Thank you to the Author for providing me with this ARC.

Oh my, I thought the last book left me broken, but I am once again writing the review with tears falling down my face.

I haven't been so absolutely angered by a character in a book, as I was with one of the boys in this story. I have a lot to say but won't spoil it. All I'll say is it wasn't enough!!

There is something about the FMC that has resonated with me since the beginning. Part of it is the emotional connection Celeste creates between her characters and me as a reader.

This was definitely another heart-wrenching emotional rollercoaster that may reveal the answers to some of the little crumbs from before but in true Celeste fashion she left me crying, heart broken, and left me hanging with so many cliffs to choose from.

The spice enhanced the story on many levels from rebuilding, to cathartic, to extremely hot buildups that all served a purpose other than the obvious. Unfortunately 2024 cannot come fast enough, but will be well worth the rereads before the next one.

Definitely recommend reading this series, prepare to go through a box of tissues and possibly ugly cry! But oh so worth it.10/10

Tropes: enemy to lover, why choose, RH, college romance, dark romance, bully romance, hidden plots, gang romance

Review: Be ready to cry in this heart breaking second installment of the Forsaken series! Celeste delivers a tragically beautiful storyline for Ivy and her men as they battle unforeseen forces that strive to keep them apart. This book is significantly darker than the first book and Celeste does Ivy’s story justice with everything she faces.

“ꜰᴏʀ ᴀ ᴍᴏᴍᴇɴᴛ, ɪ ᴄᴏᴜʟᴅ ᴘʀᴇᴛᴇɴᴅ ɪ ᴡᴀꜱ ɢᴇᴛᴛɪɴɢ ʀᴇᴀᴅʏ ꜰᴏʀ ᴀ ɴᴏʀᴍᴀʟ ᴅᴀʏ. ɪ ᴡᴀꜱ ꜱᴀꜰᴇʟʏ ʙᴀᴄᴋ ᴀᴛ ᴏᴜʀ ʜᴏᴍᴇ. ᴛʜᴀᴛ’ꜱ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ʜɪꜱ ᴋɪꜱꜱ ꜰᴇʟᴛ ʟɪᴋᴇ. ʜᴏᴍᴇ.”

After that huge cliffhanger we got in book 1, we reenter Clear Haven with the guys. I was not a fan of Cam for most of this book since he was to stubborn to admit his faults towards Ivy. I wanted to shake him and his pigheadedness soo many times since he refuses to believe she is missing even after she never shows for days. Trey was really the MMC that I fell in love with the most in this book, his character had so much growth from book 1 and the parallels that were brought up between him and Ivy were insane. Niko was also one of my favorite MMCs again especially since he goes head to head with Cam to fight for Ivy. Caleb is still iffy for me…I am waiting for his big moment in the next book and want to see his face off with his grandfather!

“ᴡᴇʀᴇ ᴛᴡᴏ ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ ᴀꜱ ʙʀᴏᴋᴇɴ ᴀꜱ ᴡᴇ ᴡᴇʀᴇ ᴄᴀᴘᴀʙʟᴇ ᴏꜰ ꜱᴏᴍᴇᴛʜɪɴɢ ʟɪᴋᴇ ʟᴏᴠᴇ?”

While the guys all evolve a ton in this story, Ivy is the one who shines in this book. This is the first book that really encapsulates all the degradation she faced and Celeste tackled her depression really well. The way Celeste wrote about her capture and then attempted indoctrination by her aunt and the Dean, what really added to the story was her desire to rescue herself and see the guys again. The way she finally encounters Caleb and Ros again was epic and I hated how her mental decline really began there. However, I did enjoy the way she began to trust Niko and Trey again after her rescue. One of the most pivotal scenes in the book was Cam’s twisted way of getting her to leave by breaking her walls and then blind sighting her with the photos they found in book 1.

“ɪ ᴄᴏᴜʟᴅ ꜱᴇᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ʙᴇɪɴɢ ᴍʏ ᴏɴᴇ ᴛʀᴜᴇ ʟᴏᴠᴇ ɪɴ ᴀɴᴏᴛʜᴇʀ ʟɪꜰᴇᴛɪᴍᴇ.”

I loved how Celeste had spice in this book but did not make it a priority since Ivy needed time to heal. I felt like Ivy’s mental state was written really well and loved how she did not dwell on what happened but instead leaned into her support group and Niko. I enjoyed how she was slow to build up her trust again and besides Niko held off on all the chemistry between the guys. I am excited to see how the revelations we get at the end in regards to Ivy’s family members (More HUTNER??) plays out! I am also looking forward to Cam and Caleb groveling some more since neither of them did enough in this book.

Rating: 100+, be ready for ALL the FEELS!!

Book two picks up where book one ended. This story will give you answers but will raise more questions.

Just when you thought Ivy had been put through the wringer, the world decided it wasn’t done with her yet and threw more things in her path.

She was made a promise, only that promise wasn’t broken by Cam, Nikolai or Trey. It was by someone who hoped to gain leverage, but by who? When Cam, Nikolai, and Trey uncover her secret, at first, they are taken aback by what they see, not sure what they believe. Yet Cam is convinced she is part of The Order. When your life is not your own, and the strings are being pulled by someone else, who will believe her truths.

And just when Ivy thought she was safe, she is thrusted into a world, not of her choosing. As punishment for suspected misdeeds. The only family that was meant to protect her, aligned themselves to fulfill their needs, her aunts mission was to break her, mould her, to prepare her for something more, yet when Cam, Nikolai and Trey finally locate her, and learn of her aunts secrets, do they begin to suspect more is going on than meets the eye.

For Ivy has learnt the truth of who her mother was and the fact that the man who claimed to be her father isn’t, lies shattering the image she had of him. Then comes the truth of her lineage and extended family, and that gives her hope. Yet Cam is still not convinced, but Nikolai and Trey are done, telling him in no uncertain terms to pull his head out of his ass.

Caleb has inserted himself into their dynamics. He has developed feelings for Ivy, which she reciprocates, however he is being controlled by the iron fist of his grandfather, there is nothing that he doesn’t know, and he uses whatever means to keep him in line, because doing so will have dire consequences for all involved.

In the face of dignity, Ivy makes sacrifices not only for Cam, Nikolai, and Trey but their respective siblings to protect them from being harmed. Will it be enough to keep them all safe?

This story continues its roller coaster of emotions and heartbreak. They continue to battle unforeseen forces that strive to keep them apart at all costs. Despite throwing caution to the wind with their respective choices, they all know what is at stake.

Ivy’s mental health as it was was on a steady decline, yet she found ways to cope and get through the inner turmoil that she was experiencing. Trust is a fickle thing, but in the end, she gave it to Nikolai and Trey.

Whilst there was the right amount of spice in the book, the author didn’t put emphasis on it, prioritising Ivy’s need to heal. In the face of adversity, Ivy pushed through, and instead of dwelling, she leaned on her support group.

That cliffhanger and the new player have you wondering what else is in store for Ivy, Cam, Nikolai, Trey, and Caleb. What more do they have to go through to get their HEA. Here’s to anticipating book three.

Highly recommend both the author and the book.

I received an ARC. Therefore, I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Foolish Hearts by Celeste Night

5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️cause I can’t do ♾️
3/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️

How do you sum up, the best fucking thing you’ve read? I still can’t wrap my mind around it.

“This wasn’t a fairytale but instead a horror story.”

“Is this what you need, solnyshka?”

“Eyes on me, Ivy. You need to see who is fucking you.”

Foolish hearts - kicks off right where Flawed ended, and whatever theories, or beliefs, I had about knowing -anything-, and I mean -anything- about what’s to come? Straight out of the window within the first five pages!!

Celeste Night - once again, pierced my black heart, shattered it, did a good pounce for extra measure, then left me there. 😩

Ivy - You’re my girl, my dark paradise, it tore my walls to follow you, yet I’d do it all over again, just so I could experience this heart gripping, thrilling, ride. It’s so worth it.
Gratification is to be found within these pages, even when you most definitely question everyone around you.

Niko, Trey, Caleb, Cam, - are all about to turn you 360 degrees, because nothing is as simple as it seems.

Angst, anticipation, madness, ✅
Reveals, twists, more mysteries ✅
Spicy, healing, and devastating character journeys ✅
Trust me, when I tell you - You know nothing, when you go back in, which is all a gift of the author’s story telling, every little hint she drops, is so perfectly hidden in darkness, it leaves you perpetually pondering the possibilities.

Don’t make me choose between my favourite, I could never! Flawed Hearts & Foolish Hearts hold my soul. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Fucking love these books, I would stay in this world forever, if I could.

Well Celeste really has a way of breaking my heart, that ending, I didn’t not see another obsessed person coming out of the woodwork. But they did and I have lots of questions. Just like I do at the end of all her books. 🤣 Ivy and her guys have stolen my heart. Sure they are definitely morally grey and one in particular has made me mad a time or two but he is on his way to redeeming himself.

We start out where book 1 left us. Ivy has been kidnapped and who took her will definitely take you by surprise. She is rescued but not before she endures a lot of horrible things (make sure to check your triggers). After she is rescued and home with the guys, Cam is still determined to get rid of her and it makes me want to throttle him. But like I said he is slowly starting to redeem himself. As always the plot in Celeste’s books keep me on the edge of my seat and this one definitely does that, and the twists in the plot had me screaming at my kindle. But the spice is hot and helps with the heart wrenching plot twists, one primal scene in particular was really hot and ALL the guys were there. I don’t want to give a lot way but I have a feeling Ivy will end up with four guys instead of the three I originally thought and I’m so here for it, let’s just hope the original three will continue to play nice with the newish guy.

I don’t think I can say this enough, I love all of Celeste’s books and this one is no different. I’m impatiently waiting for book 3! If you like bully romance with suspense and plot twist and lots of yummy spice this one is for you!!

I couldn't give this anything less than 5 stars as it completely and utterly engaged me from the start. This has suspense, spice and is a total emotional rollercoaster. Oh Ivy; her journey in this book just crushed me. Trigger warnings; you will need to check them as the first section of this is very dark and on page and I don't say that lightly. It is brutal - when you think it can't get worse; it does.

MMC wise, Niko is still the sweetest and Cam continues to be bottom of the pile for me; I am looking forward to his grovelling as he comes to terms with how wrong he is. I have never been more frustrated with someone being stubborn! Trey however, has completely won me over from his previous apathetic stance in book one and shows the most growth in my opinion; he is the absolute star of the show for me in this book (although Frankie is still the MVP). Caleb still has my heart as he is truly stuck in the middle of this and every time his yellow car is mentioned I get the fear for him!

I've already gone back for a re-read as I have so many theories rattling about and there were genuine twists in this that I didn't see coming. I love a revenge plot and am glad at how the board is being cleared so far!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely and I have added all the authors works to my TBR!

Holy crap Celeste, you just love hurting me don't you 🤣🤣

Foolish Hearts is book #2 in the Forsaken series. This is a dark why choose romance. Make sure to check the trigger warning.

My boo Trey has me even more in love with him after this book!!!

Celeste came out the gate swinging with this one and will have you on the biggest emotional rollercoaster ever. I was laughing, I was mad at a certain someone, I was swooning then crying, this one did some damage to my heart.

Ivy, I just wanted to hug her. This poor girl goes thru it and I can't wait for her to get her happy ending. Cam, I love him and hate him at the same time, but I know he can be redeemed. Niko, God this man is so lovable and I adore how much he cares about Ivy. Trey, my little psych0 love, this man could do whatever he wanted to me.

We get some answers but Celeste leaves us with so many more. I can't wait to untangle this web she has weaved and I already know it's gonna blow my mind. We even get to see some characters from Celeste other series and it made my heart so freaking happy!!!

Everything about this book was absolute perfection and I can't wait for more!

If you haven't read this series yet, go do it now!!!

🌶: 4/5

Tropes: why choose romance, bully romance, secret society

Foolish Hearts is book 2 of The Forsaken Series. To be completely honest, I was skeptical, nervous and excited to read the book. After reading this book, I loved the roller coaster of emotions that Celeste was able to pull out of me. I definitely enjoyed reading book 2 more than book 1 and this book was very well-written.

This book ends in a cliffhanger and can't be read as standalone. Read Flawed Hearts first as this book picks up where book 1 ended. The first quarter of the book I was an emotional wreck especially when reading Ivy's POV. Reading the whole book was like watching a movie - I could not wait to get to the ending and felt like I was at the edge of my seat waiting for the other shoe to drop again. I love angry Ivy! Cam is still my favorite. Caleb's character development is getting better and I like him in this book better. Trey grew on me and I feel like his personality was shown more in this book. Niko is still Niko.

The cliffhanger was not as bad as book 1 but I am intrigued! There were some questions from book 1 that were answered in this book but additional questions were raised in this book. I am looking forward to book 3.

What a wild ride. This book took me through all the emotions and let me tell you I did not want it to end. Highly recommend this one to anyone who likes Dark Romance! The wait for book 3 is going to be torture but I devoured this book so fast.

This is book 2 in the forsaken series, following flawed hearts, and is significantly darker than book 1. Ivy goes through it all in this book. She said has experiences that would crush any person but still finds a way to have strength through them.
All of the guys experienced some type of growth throughout the book. Cam.. well we won’t talk about him. Caleb, you can tell he really cares for Ivy. Trey is protective but sweet and he really grew on me in ways I didn’t expect. Niko still has my heart though.

I have so many questions about the last few chapters that my head and heart are just all over the place. Celeste really blew it out of the water with this series and I cannot wait to see how book 3 ties everything together.

It has been a few months since book one (Flawed Hearts) was released, so I THOUGHT that the pieces were put back together, but boy was I wrong. This book dove straight through my heart and tore me open even more. Do I regret coming back for more... absolutely not. Will I continue to read the rest of the series... without a doubt!
Celeste Night has a way of writing stories that fully engulf the reader and when you come up for air, you're left feeling raw and exposed but thankful for the experience.
The Forsaken Series thus far has been a heart breaking, gut wrenching ride, and yet I still crave to be in their world. Every plot point I thought I had figured out was the farthest from the truth and I love that because it kept me guessing. What started out as a very dark bully romance has stretched far beyond that limit and tackles some exceptionally heavy topics in a tragically beautiful way.
I was blown away with this one. Phenomenal job.

Going into book 2 I knew there would be a cliffhanger again BUT damn it does it hurt!!! This book is extremely dark at times and revolves around some messed up sh*t but wow is it well written and just sucks you into the drama and the chaos surrounding Ivy, Niko, Trey, Cam & Caleb …

Picking up after the crazy ending in book 1 Ivy is suffering and finding out more dark truths then she knows what to do with. Cam being the broken idiot he is believes she is a plant out to destroy him, Niko & Trey… but little does he know of Niko’s secret & the dark past Ivy has been reliving in her nightmares every night! As the truth slowly begins to reveal the big picture they are left spending the last few weeks of the semester spending as much time with each other as possible & dreading it, while also trying to find a way to avoid the awfulness of Abraham Wells!

I cannot wait to see what happens next and I am so happy I stumbled on these books as they reach into my soul and speak to me!

Foolish Hearts had me in my feelings! My heart broke for what Ivy had to endure throughout this book, she really went through some horrible things. Niko, he really loves Ivy and would do anything to protect and save her all while he was struggling with his own secrets. Trey, his black heart is slowly thawing out of Ivy and his starting to realize how much she means to him. Now Cam, where do I begin...there were a lot of times where you just wanted to strangle him and make him open his eyes to see Ivy for who she really is but when he finds out the truth it really punched him in the face. He is slowly redeeming himself but he still has a long way to go. Then we have Caleb who will also do what he has to protect Ivy even if he has to put on a show. Even though throughout most of the book Ivy was struggling she will also be strong and do something she never wanted to do protect guys and their siblings. After that cliffhanger I am so ready for book 3!

This book starts off right where Flawed Hearts ended and right off the bat it is very very dark. Ivy feels like she is having bad dreams but we (as the reader) know they are her memories and it is so very said what this girl has been through. We then jump to the boys, 3 of which are trying to figure out what happened to Ivy and where she is and then you have Cam (who you spend most of the book wanting to shake or punch or maybe both).

Secrets come out, Ivy gets saved, rough alliances are made (the boys and Caleb have to work together), family is formed, bad guys get worse, and new secret bad guy comes to the front. We also meet a new person in Ivy's life who is going to help her immensely and he is tied to another book series that I will be reading while I am patiently (NOT) waiting for the third book in this series.

Very Dark book (seriously if you have triggers read the warning), lots of steamy sexiness. Can't wait for the last book.

This series has been living in my mind rent free since the first book released in May. I needed to know what happened with these characters and book two did not disappoint!

Just a reminder that this book is DARK. It has some very heavy triggers so be sure to check them before you start reading.

I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH. It was perfect. The way the characters handled the video being released at the end of book one really showed just how much things were going to change for the group going forward. Then when they realized where Ivy was and what she'd endured- it was like a flip switched. I can't wait to see how Ivy handles everything from here on out and to find out more about that cliffhanger!

Cam- I admit I wanted to read into the story and give him a not-so-loving-slap upside the head way too many times. The man embodies the word obstinate. Niko had such a difficult journey in this book. He was already my favorite in book one and that continued in this part. He has such a precarious line to balance himself on so that he can reach his own goals while keeping his family safe. I feel for his struggles. Trey really took on a different role. Book one Trey was more indifferent, but now- if you like a quiet, nerdy psycho you will love him! Caleb is stuck with few choices because of the world he was born into and I hope we get to see more of him in book three.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave…. That’s all I could think about while reading this book. There are so many people with so many secrets. I think that’s what I truly loved about this book. Most of the characters are so developed they all feel like main characters. It was fantastic. I try not to include anything past the halfway mark in the book in case of spoilers but this book has so many revelations from the very beginning. This author did not pull any punches. There were some really hard hitting scenes that made me cry, just a warning. There were also some scenes that infuriated me beyond what you can imagine. There’s not a whole lot of steam in this book, but there is so much happening I didn’t even realize it until now. I loved this book so much and I can’t wait for the next one!

What happened? (in a great way)

This second book did not disappoint. I was speechless with how and where the story went. It definitely had me in tears at a few points. Celeste was able to pull so many emotions into the storyline. Just when I thought I knew what would happen it took a different turn. This is much darker than book 1 but it was so well written. Ivy is struggling with her relationship with the guys and trying to figure out what really happened to her in the past. I really like how the guys are stepping out from their group mentality to really stick up for Ivy and do wha is right. I loved Niko since book one but Trey really became a favorite here. I think he had some of the biggest character development. The story is still taking so many twists and turns that I have no clue what is going to happen. And that cliffhanger….UGH!

Heat: 4/5

If you want dark bully romance, you look for Celeste Night. This woman knows how to tear you down inside and leave you panting for more. Her characters are incredibly complex, resilient, stubborn, prone to mistakes, and insatiably horny.

If you read Flawed Hearts, then you already know you’re in for a world of secrets, pain (so much! Cue the tears!), small comforts, brutality, and no pity. Have patience, because Celeste will take care of you and serve those just desserts when you’re ready. And you’re not ready yet. Nope. By reading her books, you’ve purchased a vip ticket on the pain train, but the destination is worth the troubling and tearful ride. There will be joyful moments, anguish, pleasure, and rage.

I’m so excited to read the conclusion to this series!

So, book 2 pops in right where we left off in book 1! Ivy is a mess and Cam needs a throat punch! I literally love this book and the part of the Ivy and Cam/Niko/Trey/Caleb's story! There is so much happening and yet so much to still to be uncovered I am gonna lose it waiting for book 3! Because this book picks right up where we left off, it is DARK right off the rip! So PLEASE CHECK THE TRIGGER WARNINGS!

Nonetheless, Celeste you have a gift of keeping a suspenseful roller coaster of emotions flowing at full force through the entirety of your books! I love reading your creations and cannot wait for the next part in The Forsaken Series!!!!

When I say this book was intense, I mean it was INTENSE!!!!! I got so angry with some characters, fell more in love with others and ended up grudgingly accepting that someone should get a chance to redeem themselves. I raged, I cried, I laughed, I threw a water bottle! These characters have burrowed their way into my heart and will never leave. THE ENDING! I….calming breath….I’m going to be thinking about this nonstop until I get some answers!!
The whole series is absolutely fantastic and heartbreaking. I genuinely love this so much. And if you are ok with the TWs…I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ESPECIALLY if you enjoy being demolished by a book!
So. Many. Questions! GIMME NEXT BOOK PLEEEEASE! Haha. 5 STARS!

I'm not sure where to even begin because I'm still stunned. I didn't think it was possible, but Foolish Heart was even more. More darkness, more heartbreak, more danger, and more moments where I couldn't catch my breath. This second book in The Forsaken Series shows Ivy being brought to her knees. Betrayed, lied to, taken, abused, and having an old creep forcing her to marry him. There is so much that happens, and when you add in the drama with Cam, Niko, Caleb, and Trey, everything becomes more intense...including the spice. I'm not sure what Ivy is going to do next or who that mystery man was at the end, but I'm looking forward to finding out in the next book.

Celeste knows how to write them!! I was hooked! I shed so many tears with this book! Ivy was still missing when this book started and everyone except Cam was concerned about where she was! They all would do anything to find her!! Ivy goes through so much while she is held captive and finds a friend in a girl she meets. While she is locked away from everyone she try’s not to lose her spirit. Yes, Wells visits her from time to time. But, she will have another visitor that you may or may not have seen coming. Will Ivy be rescued? Will she be reunited with the boys? Will things be “normal” again!! You need to read this book and have your tissues ready! I can’t wait until book 3!!!

Dear Celeste… 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

You really know how to tear up my little black heart woman! Each book in this series just keeps getting better and better! But like seriously, I’m done with your cliff hangers woman! You’re lucky I love you.

So much has happened in this book - secrets unfolded, shmurder, lots of spicy times between some yummy men (four yummy men to be exact) with our heroine, revelations, puzzles pieces fitting together to give us more of the story we are patiently awaiting to be told in its entirety, and a cameo of my other three favorite Celeste men 😍😍😍😍

Lemme tell you, this book has made me love Ivy even more. She is one baddddddd matha!!! Wheeww!

I genuinely did not think that anything would top my love for Flawed Hearts, but somehow Celeste managed to knock me on my ass all over again with Foolish Hearts. The connection that I feel with these characters is unreal. I feel as if Ivy is my best friend and I need to wrap her up and protect her from all of the douchebags in her life. I was literally up crying at 2am because this book and the shit the characters went through just ripped my heart out. I had to keep reminding myself that at the beginning of both books we’re told there’s a HEA for Ivy but fucks SAKE. And the next book doesn’t come out until 2024? Looks like I’ll have a couple of rereads of both.

Jaw dropping amazing! I didn’t think anything could beat Flawed Hearts, but boy oh boy was I wrong! Foolish Hearts is a roller coaster of emotions from joy, anger, ugly tears streaming down my face, frustration and happiness.

I was in love with Niko in book 1, but Trey is my new crush!

Making secrets, finding out others, the twists make it even better!

If you love suspense, a lot of smut, feeling all the feelings and getting lost in a story, this is a book that I will highly recommend to everyone I know that enjoys stories like this! 10/10!

I should have known after wanting to throw my kindle after book 1 that this one was going to be a doozy. If you are easily triggered please read the warnings. As if Ivy our FMC hasn't been through enough, what she endures in this book is heart wrenching. The twists and turns in this story keep you engrossed and wanting more, but add in the spice...ohh boyy.. I did not see a cross over happening with her Strathmore guys but I am HERE for it! I cannot wait to see where we go from here, because I desperately need a conclusion!

This is the second book in the Forsaken series. This is a dark, why choose, bully romance. This book was darker than the first and I LOVED It! This book continues the story and characters from the first book. I cried so much with this one and felt the emotions so much throughout reading it. My heart broke for not only the FMC but the MMCs as well. I LOVE me some NIKO but Daddy Trey is also my favorite. I am excited for the next installment and to see how this story will end because that ending had me ready to flip tables. I need more!

Boy, did I fly through this book! After waiting what feels like forever, this book takes off right from where we were left in Flawed Hearts and I was just as drawn into this book as I was the last. The story, the breadcrumbs, the spice, THE CLIFFHANGER?! These kids sure do have a rough life and I am eating it up (although it sure felt like I said "Ugh CAM" out loud a lot more this book then the last..) This book broke my heart and left my wife asking me what was wrong. I loved it.

I am so invested in this series and 2024 cannot come soon enough!
