Herbology.com.au has been running since 2008.
Herbology is about all things herbal, with the non-alternative reader in mind.
It came about when my own passion for herbs and constant questions from friends and strangers collided.
There were people who wanted to embrace a more natural approach to health & home but had no intention of changing their entire lifestyle.
Many of the sources online assume a certain grassroots knowledge, Herbology doesn't.

All things herbal means literally anything to do with herbs - recipes, gardening, herb info, herbal remedies, craft, pet care, a product review, books, herbalism courses.
Herbology provides safe (and sane) base knowledge to whet the appetite and encourage more learning about natural health.

Somewhere around half the remedies in this book were new to me, the other half I'd already seen elsewhere. A very good book to have, especially if you are interested in living a more natural lifestyle. Even if you aren't interested in using any of these remedies, the book is still an interesting read.

A nice reference work, with sections on Kitchen herbs, an A to Z chapter of conditions, methods of preparation and storage, lists of botanical names, etc. What a great free download!

Home remedies

There are a lot of some very old school remedies in here. I loved the explanations for various ingredients and what it helps as well the section on how to pick and prepare the herbs.

Should be good

I could only see the table of contents and they seem to be useful, but it didn't let me read any until I fill in the comments and rate the title.

A lot of repetition

Some new ideas, but a lot of familiar one's. There seemed to be a lot of unnecessary repetition of remedies. I was not totally dissatisfied, more disappointed than anything.

Loved it

Found it to be very insightful. I have used a few home remedies since most emergencies happen in the middle of the night and your out of drug store meds. This book will help me stock some herbs that are needed.
