Killing Flow

Rate this book
What would you do if you had a unique psychic ability, an ability to find lost things, to see into the minds of the dead? Would you run for your life?

The story follows criminal psychologist, Alex Campbell. He has just been released from a mental institution after a disastrous suicide attempt. The police department he worked with has turned its back on him and with only a small amount of money to his name he decides to take a gamble, using his special talent.

Alex had been the most successful psychologist the police had used, he always got his man and with startling accuracy. His special ability did not go unnoticed by the cops or the underworld. A talent for discovering lost things, especially people, this was his 'dark' skill. Not until he loses everything and gains a sizable debt will this grotesque gift become life saving. He has no choice but to help a ruthless gang boss find the killer of his nephew.

His quest leads Alex to uncover dark and terrifying secrets pointing to the highest elements of Allington society. Secrets that threaten to destroy his own life and many more beside, it’s down to Alex and his special ability to stop the killing flow.

Opening line: Never play cards, gamble, or otherwise engage in leisure pursuits with people who might kill you, it’s a bad move, at least most of the time.

Watch your mind. It’s where your deepest and darkest secrets reside.
