Security consultant in Mexico, Central America, Spain, France, and Northern Africa, he also served in the coveted French Foreign Legion while he was on the run from the Federal Government for refusing to cooperate with a murder investigation.

At one time, Mr. Black was alleged by the US Federal Government to be an "arms trafficker," as well as a member of a group of men who, "...carried out contract killings." There are many far-fetched and fancy rumors surrounding Mr. Black's past.

He now trains and fights in Mixed-Martial Arts. As an expert in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, and other combative tactics, he trains both professional fighters, security teams, and law enforcement in the art of armed and unarmed combat/unconventional warfare.

Disappointed, too much plugging of his own books. And still don't know how this constitutes a 30 day writing plan. Sure there are some exercises, but in toto, nothing about how to go about doing it in a methodical way. Stick with Chris Batty's book "No Plot, No Problem".

The process seems so much more approachable now

Sometimes how-to books can be ripoffs written by hacks. After all, if the author was so successful, why did he need to sell a book about it? In this case, however, How To Write A Fiction Novel in 30 Days or Less contains valuable tips and exercises that have greatly helped me wrap my head around the writing process. I'm struggling through a fiction book right now, but I finally see that it's a surmountable task. I'm actually excited, instead of scared and intimidated.

It was a good read, and something that I tried my best to follow. But it didn't generally have the topic of which I wished to purse per se....However, I would definitely recommend to other new emerging writers.

This is a useful resource for those who are contemplating writing a book and need a little boost to get started. As an author with a couple of novels and some novellas under my belt I also found it helpful. The author clearly knows his stuff and the advice is sound. I am already using many of the techniques he recommends, but reading this book helped to make the writing process and steps clearer for me. I particularly liked the section at the end on marketing as this is an area I struggle with. I also enjoyed reading about his own writing journey, especially with his first manuscript which was highly amusing! For a Kindle freebie this was a great find!

Thank You Mr. Black! "How to Write a Fiction Novel..." is a wonderful motivational tool for writers needing a "nudge" forward. You've summed up the steps for creating, writing, and publishing a novel in a concise and motivating manner. Your instructions are not overwhelming, but encouraging. Then as a bonus, you hold our hand and walk us through the process of writing said novel. Again, "Thank You!" I'm pumped up and on my way to completing my first novel.

This book has some useful stuff about producing and promoting a novel as an ebook but not anything useful in terms of actually writing that book in 30 days besides highly generic advice. "Keep at it, all you need are great ideas, determination, and good marketing " are platitudes, not actually how to advice.

Recomendo.
