Kate has always had a crush on Dominic, the handsome owner of the club where her band plays. When she finds out one night that he is a vampire, her interest only grows, and when on that same night he sniffs out her need for spanking and brings her deepest fantasies to reality, she falls head over heels. The trouble is, Dom is allergic to relationships, or so it seems.
Dom loves knowing how to turn Kate on and taking her in hand comes naturally to him. But he believes he likes Kate much more than is good for either of them. In his mind, he can never be the man she needs, and the best thing he can do for her is to stay far away. But when a powerful vampire targets Dom, Kate gets tangled in the dangerous web and Dom finds himself prepared to sacrifice his own life to save hers. Can he get her back alive? If so, will they find a way to be together?

Ready for some spanking vampire domination? This kinky paranormal romance is for the domestic discipline fans. Kate is a singer for the band, Morphs. Little does she know she’s best friends with a gay vampire. It’s not the gay part which shocks her. She’s knows this already. It’s the fact that he’s a vampire who has repeatedly removed this memory from her which stuns Kate. When Fox is caught with his fangs out again by Kate, he knows he’s in trouble. This last time, he is unwilling to wipe out her memory for fear of damaging her irreparably. Letting a human know of the vampire world is verboten.
This piece of information allows Kate to quickly connect the dots and realize Dominic DeParma, the owner of the bar No Return, is also a vampire. When Dominic who goes by Dom finds out Kate is aware of vampires, it isn’t looking good for either Kate or Fox. Luckily, an off chance mention of spankings turns this around. Dom is a main feature of Kate’s sexual spanking fantasies. Finding out he’s a vampire turns her on even more. It’s a good thing vampires have a good sense of smell. Dom’s discovery of Kate’s kinky desires saves her ass.
This story is well crafted with conflicts which end in a believable manner. Ms. Rose sets up certain events early on to allow for the big showdown to end in a favourable way. This story is more than just a human female falling in love with a hot vampire Dom. The blending of vampire threats with a budding domestic discipline relationship is fantastic. Fans of Trueblood who’ve always wanted Sookie to be taken in hand by Eric, forget about Trueblood. Read this book. This is the kinky vampire human dynamics which will have a reader humming in delight.
Both Dom and Kate are likable characters. They are easily relatable and even better, they are not emotionally traumatized. This is especially great since so many BDSM tales of late draw the main character with some kind of mental illness or abuse. It’s a relief to find healthy normal people getting their kink on and not having issues with it. Dominic is a Dom who will easily melt any female submissive just by his words. His application of discipline is right up my alley. It was so bloody good. Kate is no weak willed pushover. She is a bit too submissive. It is a delight to find Ms. Rose twist this around and have Dominic force Kate to be more assertive. What a clever little minx! Ms. Rose is an author to watch. This book is highly recommended for readers who want a well written romantic D/s tale.
This book was amazing! It was my dream come true spanking novel. Quality writing, intriguing storyline, HOT spanking scenes, a hero and heroine that you love and root for from beginning to end. I highly recommend! This author is going on my permanent must read shelf!
Kate, a human, has had a crush on the gorgeous and dangerous Dom since she laid eyes on him. Dom, a vampire, can’t deny he wants Kate, but he knows from personal experience that relationships with mortals don’t end well. However, one night after Kate plays with her band in the club Dom owns, the two of them finally give in to the passion between them. That’s when Dom discovers Kate’s secret fetish: spanking. As things heat up between him and Kate, Dom tries to convince himself that he’ll fulfill Kate’s needs without letting the relationship get serious…but that proves to be harder than Dom thought it would be.
Thoughts:
Kate spends her nights playing at No Return with her band where she gets to see the totally hot and totally mysterious Dom. The owner of the club, Dom stars in all of Kate’s fantasies, but she’s never had the courage to act on her feelings. She worries that anyone she gets involved in will find out about her desire to be spanked and think she’s a freak. When things get taken to the next level with Dom, Kate feels that she’s finally found someone who can accept her for who she is. Problem is, Dom’s a vampire. And he doesn’t do relationships with mortals.
Kate tempts Dom like no else has, but as a centuries old vampire, he is well aware that getting involved with a human never ends well. Despite knowing that, he finds he’s unable to resist Kate and when he finds out that she likes to be spanked, he steps up to satisfy her needs. Soon enough, Dom realizes Kate means more to him than she should and he believes he needs to end things with her. There’s an enemy out there who is targeting Dom, though, and getting involved with Kate may have put her in his enemy’s sights. Now Dom will do anything to protect her…but a happy ending with Kate is impossible, isn’t it?
Generally, I liked Kate. She was a nice person and a good friend. I just wish she was more independent; Dom had to solve a lot of problems for her and he was the one who pointed out that she needed to stick up for herself more. Fortunately, Kate did develop as the book went on. She came into herself and became a strong and more emotionally mature person.
I liked Dom, too, although his back-and-forth attitude with Kate was slightly irritating at times. I can understand his determination to not let things get serious with Kate, though. When you learn about what he’s been through in his past, you can’t help but feel for Dom. And can I just say that his name fits him perfectly? Dom’s a total alpha male and the way he took charge with Kate? HOT. I love a good alpha male so Dom was my favorite character in Deathless Love.
Fox and Stella were great secondary characters. Fox is the kind of best friend everybody wants and Stella was fun. I wish we’d gotten to know the villian a little better and learned more about her motives, however.
As I’ve said, Kate likes to be spanked and dominated, so this is a BDSM book. But I definitely wouldn’t say it’s a hardcore BDSM book. There’s spanking, but that’s it. That’s not to say the book is tame, but it’s not extreme either.
Memorable Quote:
She leaned forward and gave him a shy peck on the cheek. “Thanks.” “It was my pleasure,” he said with a satisfied little purr in his voice. “So…is that your pleasure?” He laughed. “It’s not my regular gig, but it’s an easy role for me to step into. My name is Dom, after all.”
If you like paranormal romance books with a little kink in them, you should absolutely give Deathless Love a look!

Deathless Love has everything a fan of erotic paranormal romance would want. Hot vampire, hot spankings, hot vampire, well written plot, did I mention the hot vampire?
Kate is the shy, self-conscious human who sings in a band at Dom’s (that hot vampire I may have mentioned) club. Dom doesn’t do mortals anymore—until Kate practically falls into his lap begging to be disciplined. And thus begins a sexy adventure.
Like I said, the book is well written for an erotic romance, and there’s even a little suspense thrown in for good measure. And I’m all for a little spanking. The thing that kind of bugged me (just a little) was Kate never said she wanted to be his sub, just that she was into the whole spank me to climax scene. So when Dom did his thing and dominated her and she was telling him no, I really think he should have listened. Yes, he explains why he doesn’t, but they didn’t really have a D/s relationship—she just liked the kinky side of slapping one on her ass every now and then. That was really the only thing that bugged me. The rest of the book was a fun, flirty, sexy read.
Renee Rose definitely knows how to get a reader hot and bothered by the spank. Would I read a book by this author again? Hell yeah! Would I recommend this book to other kinky paranormal readers looking for a bit of slap and tickle play? Abso-fucking-lutely!
What started out as a 5 star story, stayed a 5 star story throughout the whole thing. I absolutely loved Kate and Dom from the very beginning and the story was not what I expected it to be. Dom is an over 500 year old vampire and Kate is a mortal, a singer for the band that plays in the club he owns. The only problem with Kate and Dom getting together? Dom doesn't do mortals. That is until him and Kate come together and he discovers her kink of needing to be spanked. The two have a HOT time together, spanking and sex go hand in hand in this story and the scenes are so well written on top of incredibly HOT. The best part of the whole thing is that you can easily forget that you're reading erotic fiction because there are is so much more to the story than the sex. There is real paranormal plot line to make it a great story to read outside of the erotic genre. I am definitely a fan of Renee Rose now and can't wait to see what else she can come up with. Especially if she can write more erotica that makes you forget you're reading erotica.
*I received this book in exchange for my honest review as part of the RABT book tour*
Our journey is with Kate (human) a singer for a band that plays in Dom's (vampire) (vampalicious) club. The problem is Kate has it hot and heavy for Dom but he does not do humans. Well that is about to change when he finds out Kate wants to be spanked and all his reserve breaks. Then we are set for a sexy ride through their sexual escapade that will leave all the ladies HOT. Dom sure does know how to heat you up from your core out and begging for more. I think I want Dom for myself I have been a bad girl. I need spanked. Renee has written a very intriguing book with lots of twists and turns not to mention the hot sex scenes that will just about make anybody's blood boil. So if you are looking to read a erotic paranormal with a hot vampire make sure to read this one. Renee has created well rounded characters the description is good she sets the scene and while reading it it plays out like a movie in your mind. This should be a must read for all erotic lovers out there. And Renee even gives us a good ending what more could you ask for ........ Okay we could always ask for more of Dom.
Renee Rose has blown me away with her newest release, Deathless Love. It follows Kate who is the lead singer in a band that sings their own songs as well as well known songs dependent on her mood. She gets a little too tipsy on stage and winds up bent over Dom's desk for a very sound spanking. He's the super hot, club owner who just happens to be a vampire. He starts out by just acting out Kate's wildest fantasies when suddenly the two begin to have real feelings for each other. Add some twists and turns, very spicy sex scenes, and a great happily ever after romantic ending. This is my favorite story to date! I love the added friendship between Kate and Fox and the underlying tension between Kate and Stella. Would adore a book centered around Fox and/or Stella as well. Very nice balance of sexy and sweet. Another five star review!
What I liked most was that I thought this pretty much struck the perfect balance between domestic discipline spankings and sensual spanking.
Kate was the talented and shy leader of a rock band. You wouldn't think someone as shy as her would be able to pull it off but I think she hid behind her onstage persona.
Dom is your classic Vampire - he doesn't sparkle - except, of course, he is a nice guy. And has created a mini-coven (Fox and Stella) who he hangs out with.
Probably the weakest part was the evil vampire plot line. It added a bit of drama and excitement but wasn't particularly developed all that well and I definitely had questions in the end. Perhaps another book featuring Stella or Fox will be forthcoming eventually.
If you like some spankings in your romance, I think you can't go wrong with this one.
Ahhhhh...Kate and Dom were amazing together. Dom knew just what Kate needed and gave it to her....I loved reading every bit of it!!!!!
At first, I thought maybe it was going to be just another run of the mill, but heck no! There are parts where he truly shows her he really cares, that right there made the book for me. It wasn't all about sex, it was the trust.
Of course they had their ups and downs...that's what made the story so fun to read. I don't think she'll ever touch the shades again.
Even in the heart of the book when Dom thought he lost it all, about to give up......she was there!
I have to say the ending of the book was something that I never saw coming...nice twist.
Loved it.....the writing, the characters, wouldn't mind having my own Vampire giving me a lesson.
After reading Renee Rose’s awesome spanking story, Pleasing The Colonel, I eagerly jumped at the chance to read her vampire story, Deathless Love.
Enhhh...it was okay.
Deathless Love is like vampire chicklit. Vampires sit around drinking herb tea, sculpting and playing the guitar. Come on, where’s the danger, the dark fantasy and the edgy storyline? These are vampires for gosh sakes! It’s not here. In fact, the story reminded me of Twilight except there was no love triangle, lots of sex, and lots of spanking. The ending is very very fluffy
Renee Rose writes well, so I’m sure some folks will love it. Most spanking erotica is so bad and her books are definitely above the norm. I’m just not that crazy about domesticated vampires.
In Deathless Love, author Renee Rose has combined spanking romance/domestic discipline and the paranormal into one exciting, erotic read. Kate is a member of a band and has played at Dominic’s club for years. She has a thing for him and he’s attracted to her. Problem? Dom is a vampire, a powerful one, and he fears the risks of getting involved with a mortal. He finally succumbs to sleeping with her, but won’t give her the commitment she desires. Just when he decides he can, the past he feared comes back to haunt, and an old battle between good and evil threatens to split this couple apart. Deathless Love is a touching, griping, erotic love story that makes vampires real and spanking hot!
When I read the blurb for this book, seeing that there were vampires in it, I admit to being slightly worried. I have avoided "Twilight" and any books like that- I prefer my vampires to be more like Anne Rice's, not "sparkly." However I got to read an excerpt of the book and that eased my mind- no sparkling vampires for Renee! I absolutely loved Dom and Kate from the beginning, also highly enjoyed Fox and Stella. Watching Dom use a light D/s dynamic to take Kate in hand to help her be more assertive was fascinating. I especially enjoyed the climax of the story and the wonderful way Renee wrapped up the story. Great read! And the cover art was gorgeous!
Sexy romance between a Dom (who is a vampire) and a sub or DD spankee (who is a human). It took me a while to warm up to the characters - a little too fast too much. Overall loved the vampire culture and politics - esp. some of the secondary characters. Kate was just o.k. - though she didn't stand out to me. Loved Dom - and enjoyed that this is a mix of domestic discipline as well as erotic spanking. Unique take on the subject - and would very much like to read Stella and Fox's stories!
This is another great story by Renee Rose that has it all. Great plot, well developed characters, suspence, hot sex and yes spankings as well as vampires. This is a favorite of mine as of yet and I loved how the relationship developed and how the side characters were well developed as well. Awesome Job.
Renee pens "Deathless Love", a griping erotic love story, with a well written plot and characters. Many twists, turns and some great sex with vampires who enjoy a good spanking. This book keeps turning you on over and over again!
This review is based on a complimentary copy which was provided for an honest review.
This was a great read. All the characters had depth and there was humour and suspense. I loved the passion between Kate and Dom and the sexual tension. I loved Kate's attitude and all the (many!) ways she kept getting into trouble. And what a lovely ending. Oh yeah, and the spankings were hot! I can't wait to read more by Renee Rose :)
Deathless Love was a sexy and gripping full length novel about a dominant vampire and the strong heroine who captures his heart. I loved it the whole way through. If you like paranormal and/or spanking romances, you don't want to miss this one!
OMG - I think every Dom should be a Vampire... or every Vampire should be a Dom :D
I'll post my review after Oct 5th when it goes live on my blog for tour :D (check out my blog for a chance to win an e-copy on Oct 5th :) http://upallnightreviews.blogspot.com/ )
I enjoyed this read, you really get to know the 4 main characters, understand what makes they 2 key ones tick. A BDSM vampire storyline, with some added drama. Really easy to read, a compelling read. I like the way it transcends back to old fashioned morals and ways of life.
Isolated in the states has kept this little band safe for years. Actions by one but all at risk, those kidnapped are at risk of not making out. An old evil is taking over the known vampires and has come here to absorb them as well.
Ms Rose always delivers an engaging story. A very old vampire becomes involved with the young singer that performs at his club after he spanks her for her attitude.
I enjoyed the characters, the setting as well as the shifter- mortal storyline. Who doesn't love a good spanking by a hot guy. Oh yeah definitely enjoyed this book. The author is well written in this book. You will not be disappointed.
I thought the domestic discipline was explained and done well. The hot and cold act was irritating and it started dragging a bit. I feel like it could have been shorter
Overall the book was well rounded, so I won't take that from her, but I felt lost in all of the spanking. *gasp* I am a fan of all things BDSM and I believe in the right to do whatever in the hell you want with your book. That being said, I want to point out that when a book seems rushed, not entirely thought out, and what I would consider the love child of Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey, that it loses all the awesomeness that it COULD be. I love vampires (even though Twilight has destroyed them for me), I LOVE spanking, and I love a good old fashioned happy ending. Deathless love had ALL three of those. So I bet you are asking yourself why I gave the book a three and not something higher, right? The answer is simple. It just didn't hit the spot for me.Was it well written? Yep, it was! Did it make me want more? Yep, it did! So why the long face? I wanted a better villain. I needed less spanking and more sex - it was all spanking, all the time - I yearned for more variety. I craved an original-ish ending that was believable (yes I realize we are talking about vampires here, but I have a standard. lol). I wanted Dom to not be so wishy washy. I guess I just wanted more development.
All the characters seemed copy and pasted. Almost like they were a standard template for any character, they just lacked a name and a purpose. The villain was the same way. Typical evil bitch who wants to conquer and rule all. I don't recall ever finding out why she was on a crusade to enslave the damned, but I still would like to know what her driving force was.
Dom was woefully distant, and while I can sympathize with his reasoning, I just couldn't quite nail him down either. He suffered a great loss and was unable and unwilling to let himself be vulnerable again. But all it took was one drunken rockabilly with an affinity for being spanked falling into his lap and the rules instantly change? I just can't buy into the rapid overturn because it's not that realistic. =( He bounced back and forth between wanting Kate and then tossing her out. I wanted to backhand him for being a punk at times. But again, it was just that he seemed so frazzled and rushed.
Kate, for me, was like the overly emotional sorority girl. Drunk and falling all over her man crush, hoping that she would be noticed even though every guy in town (even the gay ones) want to bend her over a table and she doesn't recognize it. *sigh* She tantrums a bit much for my taste but at least she lets it out musically. I have to hand it to Renee for adding in the "You are an a-hole so beg and grovel for forgiveness" music. I immediately opened youtube and started browsing all the songs from the book. Score one for that! ; )
Next up is Fox.... Fox was my main man! I loved him and all his hot musical talent! He is Kate's band mate and best friend. Does it matter to me that he was gay with no chance of being straight? Hell no! I have to say that he was probably my favorite character in the book aside from Dom. Very easy to relate to, rather well rounded, and just an over all good guy. He can come jam at my house anytime he wants. lol
Stella was fun and sassy and I don't really have anything to say about her, other than she was a bit snarky at one point and it kinda put a bad taste in my mouth about her after that. Being an unbreakable trio that is suddenly busted up by a silly human, sorta makes you a tad on the cranky side. So I can sympathize to a degree, but I don't agree with how she handled certain things. >.<
Overall the book was a good read and I enjoyed a lot of things about it. I just wish that it would have made me feel as warm and fuzzy about it as I wanted to be. In the future though, if I am ever in the mood for a book with some hanky panky and a lot of spanky, this is definitely the book I will pick up. Kink and a happily ever after are nothing to snub your nose at. ; )
