[Siren Classic Erotic Alternative Paranormal Romance, M/M, werewolves, public exhibition, HEA] Antonio de Luca never meant to leave his birth pack. After all, it was founded by his family. But the friction between him and the pack's future beta forced him to change his decision. Luckily a friend who recently became a pack alpha offers him a beta position and new home. Antonio expected things to be better in his new pack. What he didn't expect was to find his mate, which should be a happy occasion, except it's not. Murray Thomas doesn't sleep with men. He doesn't even admit he wants to, even if the attraction between him and Antonio is undeniable. Antonio has to tread carefully around him. To make matters worse, Antonio becomes the target of vandalism. Someone obviously isn't happy with him. Can his and Murray's fragile bond survive the danger they are in? ** A Siren Erotic Romance

Sunny Day's main preoccupation in life is reading and/or writing books, though she much prefers reading what someone else wrote. She is thirty something, single, and can usually be found attached to her laptop. Her only form of exercise is bouncing up and down when whatever story she is working on shapes well.

This follows on from Finding Alpha Silver Moon Wolves 1 and features not-so-straight Murray, cousin of Don from that book. Rhys gets his friend Antonio from another pack (still not actually Silver Moon, despite the series name and who's having alpha issues of a sort to join as his beta. Antonio is DUM-DUM-DUM - Murray's mate. . . and a MAN!!! I actually thought Antonio was too nice for Murray a lot of the time - who spends a good portion of the book being a cock-tease and playing hot and cold. Still there were some hot under the covers )literally) action and onto book three.

These books are so very short. Not necessarily a bad thing in this case, since the plot is focused on a single thing.

Of course, the “I’m not gay” plotline is far from unusual. But as it turns out this entire story is about sexual issues. Shifters? I suppose so. That constitutes not a big factor in any way. No, this is all about Murray’s sexual repression and his ascent from the depths of that.

I appreciate Antonio’s patience. Always do in such cases. As well as the firmness of his stance. (Even if we could argue about the sex, I suppose. But I can’t really care right now.)

What I do not appreciate are the contradictory statements about time.
It’s been two weeks. The next scene it has been nearly a week. Eh. I can only surmise that they meant the latter time span passed since the previous scene but that context is not the one implied in the sentence.

I’m starting to think that the most interesting person in all of this is in fact Jason. He does make for an amusing side character for the series and I do appreciate the fact that he appears to be unaffected by the Everyone’s Gay Syndrome.

Anyway, this book wasn’t a source of displeasure. Just one of those quick things.
I hardly know how to rate it, but if the previous book stood at a solid 2.5 then this would likely be a little higher up.

I really enjoyed this sequel and eagerly look forward to the next book. I dont really want to wait to long so I hope Sunny writes fast lol but I want the editing to stay good so I am willing to wait 12 months if I have to.

I have a few little things I didnt like, there were a few timeline jumps that wernt clear, we would jump till after dinner etc and I was going huh? I also thought that Murray resisted a little to long. But some of the tension was smoking hot.

Once again the author did something slightly different so the plot stayed interesting :)

I enjoyed Silver Moon Wolves 2 - Finding Beta. Antonio is on the smallish side but don't underestimate his resolve.

The interactions between the pair and events around them are quite fun to read.

Surprisingly I really liked this one. I thought the sexual tension was written well. It felt more realistic than some other gay-for-you type stories and the progression from mere touching to sex made sense. I also liked how Antonio, like Alpha Rhys (book 1) looks smaller, but is a stronger, more capable fighter and wolf. It shakes the stereotypes up a bit.
