I like "Training Amy" by I LOVED this sequel!!! It had the sexiness and heat of an erotic novel with the added thrill and grit of a suspense novel. I look forward to reading more for this author who has completely surprised me with a different writing style.

Half of the book was none stop erotica, the rest was Kali's story. Personally, I would have preferred to have a little more mix like the author did in Training Amy, but I understand that would have been very complicated with the plot line unless the characters were dramatized. In all, not the best, but it wasn't bad. I wouldn't say it was much of an erotica though.

I started it, was really unhappy with it right off the bat, put it down, railed about it, started thinking maybe I was unfair, finished reading it, still not happy.

Non- spoiler things that made me unhappy:
Bad grammar, inconsistent writing, strained credulity beyond belief, and not really about Kali and Brad's relationship.

Why did I even pick it up in the first place? I've read a couple of the author's books - Training Amy and Weekend Captive. I liked both of them for reasons I cannot explain. They were both plagued with grammar problems, inconsistent writing and strained credulity. But, The characters were well written. I liked Kali and Brad in Training Amy and was really looking forward to reading their story. What really awesome thing did Brad do to get Kali to switch for him? How do you Dom a Domme? What is a Domme like as a submissive?

And now we get into spoilers.

The most disappointing thing about this book is that it is not really about a Domme who switches for a Dom.

This is the sequel to Training Amy. It is great! You get to see Eric, Brad, and Amy but this is Kali's story. She is so much more than what she seems and has had a much harder road than the others. This kind of delves into how people can abuse trust in the bdsm world, or mistake a willing sub for a whore that's up for anything. Kali falls for the wrong person and ends up in a hellish situation when she is younger. She runs and starts out fresh until the past comes back to haunt her. As with any Anne O'Connell book, do not read if you are easily offended. This book does contain rape type situations that are quick but get the point across. I loved this book as much as Training Amy and have read both multiple times.
