WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST READ
Hell!!!!!!!! Ok fine, I knew this book was going to be about incest but WOAH, this is a whole other level!!!! "Mangled, broken, weird, strange…fucked up?”"

How much do I love forbidden/taboo love stories?!?! I just can’t help it! I’m not gonna lie... this was one HOT read! Just an FYI before reading this one, there are a lot of people that may not be comfortable with the subject matter...
The story is about two people who grew up together as brother and sister. Jordan and Gareth. Since they were teens, they have always felt this attraction towards one another, fantasized about each other, but never acted on it. Jordan has always felt bad about this. She doesn’t feel normal- I mean, who fantasizes about their only brother? Now they find out that they may not be related at all...

So this book was recommended to me by my Pervy Nerd, Melissa. And I will be honest, I had no idea what to expect. What if I couldn't get into? I didn't want to offend my Perv. But Perv swore it was a very HOT read, so I couldn't resist.
Jordan comes back home after her father has passed away to help her brother put him to rest. This is when her brother Gareth reveals to her that their father had babbled some things before he died about them possibly not being brother and sister. Now they want to find out if it may be true, which would mean that all of their fantasies about each other, may not be sick after all. But the desire they have for each other seems to have gotten stronger with the possibility. They don't know if they can wait for the results of the DNA test to finally know the truth.
I was surprised by the fact that I actually liked it! I don't normally read books about Taboo subjects, but this was all kinds of HOT! Oh and it was also very funny! Maybe it was funny just to me, but I couldn't help but chuckle at some things.

I'm not going to go into some long drawn out review since the blurb pretty much says everything you need to know about this book.
What I will say is that Jordan goes home after her and Gareth's father dies. After talking with Gareth, he tells her that during their fathers last days, he was rambling and most of it didn't make sense, but he did hint at the fact that Jordan and Gareth may not be brother and sister after all.
They do some digging and discover their parents were married to other people prior to Jordan and Gareth's birth. Since there is some doubt in their minds that they are actually blood relatives, Jordan and Gareth admit to having feelings for each other since they were teenagers and the feelings have only grown since. Jordan tracks down who she is pretty sure is her father after some digging. Gareth and Jordan start acting on their feelings long before any of that though. Gareth's real mom is a bitch that doesn't want to claim him and wants absolutely nothing to do with him. Jordan's real father is sweet and accepting of the whole situation. And their neighbor drove me crazy, because she was some crazy lunatic that apparently spent enough time looking in their windows to know that Gareth ties up his sex partners and memorizes what the feet of what Gareth's partner looks like through the blinds on the window (to the point that she recognizes Jordan's feet when she opens the door to her one day)! That neighbor was fu*king crazy!
I'll totally admit the sex between Jordan and Gareth was smoking hot!
Now, I'll tell you what prevented me from giving this book 5 stars:
1. While the sex was smoking hot, it really shocked me that there was NO discussion of birth control (whether Jordan was on it or not) and he NEVER used condoms. Normally I don't really think twice about it when this happens in books and don't really care, but given their situation they were in and they are giving into their desires before they are 100% sure that they aren't blood relatives, wouldn't you think there would be some type of birth control discussion or some method used to prevent pregnancy (even though pregnancy wasn't a factor in this book) - just so that in the rare chance they were indeed related, measures would have been at least discussed to prevent a pregnancy? Personally I thought it was irresponsible given the situation. Doesn't mean the sex wasn't hot, but I just think that should have been addressed in their situation until they were 100% sure if they were related or not.
2. The typos in this book drove me insane. I can handle errors here and there in books, but I found so many errors throughout the book it drove me crazy. Maybe I'm just someone that catches those errors that others overlook, but I couldn't stand it.
If you aren't against taboo subject matter and want a book with hot sex scenes, that have some BDSM element to them - then I'd recommend this book.

4 cool and kinky starts!
Very quick and easy read, with a nice pace to it.
It's one of those taboo reads (and we like 'em, don't we ;-)), about brother and sister lovin', with a very kinky brother as a hero, and somewhat whore-ish sister as a heroine :-D.
I think the gif with the two naughtiest siblings out there from The Borgias, is in order :-).
No they don't usually kiss, or do much of anything, but bark at each other. But there is nothing "usually" about this story. I would say anything but :).
It's not a heart wrenching story. I knew it's going to be a quick and fun read, so I didn't have any expectations going in. Soraya and Rosalinda, thanks for the heads up ;-).
There is no over the top drama (aside from the scenes with the nosy neighbor). The characters go at each other already in the beginning of the story, mhm :).
I liked both main characters, especially Gareth. I liked his "I'm not sorry for anything" persona :). I blame him for dragging Jojo to the dark side :-D.

At first I wasn’t sure what to think. I couldn’t get into the book because the way the scenes played out, it just the whole thing seem awkward and uncomfortable. And the writing took a while to get used to.
Then things started getting heated up and it became sexy smut on overdrive.
This book is less on the romance and more on the smut — though there’s still declarations of love, etc. But I wanted some substance with the awesome sex the MCs have.
There’s no OW, OM, cheating, or any kind of drama. Hell, there’s not really any forbidden-related kind of drama.
But the MCs.... I just wasn’t feeling them. They had this sibling-kink (think daddy-kink except in a form of siblings) going on that seemed awkward... and the h was kinda a doormat, which was kind if annoying. I know she was all about trying new things, but cmon girl, are you really blinded by the d???
I didn’t necessarily dislike this reading but I didn’t thoroughly enjoy it either — 2.5 stars.

It was obvious that the weren't real siblings and i actualy forgot about it..It felt like a real couple right away..And also had a story to be unraveled..

- I hated his mother, and her mother.
- I found some mistakes but whatever i can forgive that.
- I finished it quickly, that indicates i liked it..
- I loved the end.
- The predicament didn't really bothered me.

This is a story that takes a bit of the forbidden and turns it into some hot erotica! Jordan and Gareth grew up believing they were brother and sister; but after Gareth heard his dying father's ramblings that Jordan wasn't his daughter, the questions began and hopes were raised. You see, the siblings began to develop an inappropriate attraction, and sexual feelings towards one another as they both started to mature. Even though neither one had ever acted on these taboo feelings, they both had them and continued to fantasize about each other. Jordan comes back to her childhood home after her suppossed father's death, and grieves with Gareth. When he brings up the issue of them possibly having different parents and not being blood related, the flood gates of their attraction opens up and they can no longer deny their feelings. As they are becoming aquainted with one another sexually, Jordan stumbles upon a man who could or could not be her father.
Even though this story includes a forbidden attraction between two possible siblings, it was enjoyable. The sex is extremely hot and has some BDSM elements in it as well. Not everyone will be comfortable reading about possible incest, but if you are into dark and taboo reads then this is an enjoyable book. I gave it a 3.5 stars because there were a lot of spelling errors and at times that distracted me. {eg. the word: 'clothes was spelled 'close'} I also would have liked to have had Gareth's point of view in the story, as I wasn't able to connect with his character as much. Jordan was a likeable character and her torment within herself regarding her attraction to her possible brother was heart breaking at times. On the whole though, it was a pleasureable read and I would for sure look to read some of Parker Ford's other works!

I liked the taboo nature of the book but it read as a plotless erotic novella. From the start of the book you don’t get much of a reason to fall in love with these characters… they just exist and want to bone each other. Didn’t feel attached to them at all.

What some readers I think aren't realising is that on some level they knew they weren't related.
Really Jordan always felt more than she should and felt bad like she was wrong to want that and if as her sister then yes it is wrong for her to think that or for him to think it.
They already wanted each other from when they knew how to want.
Now, personally I liked the premise and the story but... meh... it felt too scripted, no real emotions, I didn't feel morally confused or sad regarding Gareths whole mother situation, I read it to know the end but I skim read parts to get there. The story was great, I like taboo ans this story has great potential, I just felt the characters needed a touch more.
More development, more understanding. I didn't not like Gareth, but I didn't really care either. Jordan, well I'm being picky here but a personal thing for me is don't give a girl a unisex name in a book, I tend to forget character names and so if it sounds male I get a bit lost and think it is another character but that's just me.
She was okay but other than knowing she wants to fuck her big brother I have no idea what she is like, in fact I can't even remember to know what she looks like, apparently just like Gareth so that's all I need.
I sound moany. I did enjoy this book, I just wanted to pull out more, more background, more information, more... And that is a compliment because I wanted to read more, I liked it enough I wanted even more.

So, I've read a book about incest and I've read many books about step-siblings so why not a book about two people who may be blood relations or may be step-siblings. A hybrid of sorts. The premiss was interesting however the execution could have been better. The sexy times were hot and enjoyable. The core drama of the story was a bit boring and drawn out however it was necessary.
Jordan moved back home after the death of her father. Her brother Gareth had stayed at the house to help him so when they end up back in the house together old feelings start to make themselves known again.
I thought it was well written, there would be times when I would be so caught up in the sexy-times that were happening I would forget there was the potential that Jordan and Gareth were related. The sexy bubble I was in would be shattered when Gareth would refer to Jordan as his little sister right in the heat of the moment. It created this really interesting inner turmoil as a reader.
The premiss of this book was different from anything I’d read before and I enjoyed that aspect of it.

I am most certainly no prude, and love my stories dark and completely fucked up, but this was just bad, bad, bad.
There were so many spelling and grammar mistakes I lost count - at some points, sentences made no sense what so ever.
Even on an erotic level, the sex did nothing for me unfortunately.
I really don't like to leave bad reviews, but the amount of mistakes in this book were unforgivable. Sorry this really didn't work for me.

Holy moley, this was steamy. And kinda sweet, too. We have Jordan and Gareth. They were raised together since very young and looked enough alike that they could be siblings. They thought they *were* siblings because that's what their parents told them. Once puberty hit, they each started having feelings -- non-sibling feelings -- toward the other. But they never acted on it. They couldn't... wouldn't... they were siblings.
So now Jordan has come back home after their father died. Or at least Jordan thought he was her father. Gareth had been there to take care of him in his final days, and their father had revealed things that made Gareth think they weren't related. Which sort of gave them a green light to explore how they felt about each other. They still didn't know for sure, but they couldn't keep their hands off each other once the option was there and they realized they each felt the same way about the other. We, as the readers, are pretty sure that there's no blood here, but they still didn't know for sure, and here they are messing around. No penetration, but I can't imagine that bringing your sister to orgasm and then finding out there is blood is going to make you feel any less squeamish just because you didn't actually screw her, lol. I think because I was pretty sure, all of their interactions were darn steamy. Gareth has a dominant streak which he unleashes on Jordan, and some of those scenes were pretty hot.
Ultimately, it was an HEA story. It ended a little abruptly, but at the same time, I suppose it was a logical place to end it.

Lots of misspellings, bad punctuation and words in a sentence that didn't belong there. I hate to fuss about that kind of thing but when you write a guy as hot as Gareth, have a taboo subject matter and you're writing HOT, HOT sex, please don't have typos!

I have to say I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. At first it kind of creeped me out the way he refered to her as his sister while they were intimate. Then I figured this is all they've known. I wish the book had been longer- the end was a bit rushed to me. I would recommend this book. 3.5 stars

Okay, I still can't believe I actually read this! I have always resisted taboo reads but maybe it was my time of the month or that I'd been reading a string of 'innocent' books, or whatever, because when I kept seeing Cry, Little Sister on my feed and hearing how hot it was, I caved.

So was it good, or rather BAAAAD?? Yes, it was seriously one of the hottest shit I've read! I was very hot and bothered.
