Still some good ideas but dated

Yes, the book is outdated. That doesn't make it any less useful of a tool.

This book has a lot of good advice for any going on or even considering a short term missions trip. While it leaves me with a sense of intimidation, it was very emphatic that failure and brokenness are essential to the missionary. All of the deeper spiritual truths apply to any mission field.
