She has everything she wants… until he shows up and threatens to take it all away.
Penny Pickle is in a pickle (pun intended). She’s finally achieved her dream of owning Big Bear Village vacation rentals in the small resort town of Keller Hollow. When a development company shows up with the promise of saving the struggling town, it sounds amazing. It’s not. They need her property to build their luxury resort and spa.
Maverick Rutledge is a man on a mission. He’ll do whatever it takes to turn Keller Hollow into the premier vacation destination of the Rocky Mountains. He has staked his career on it and isn’t backing down, no matter how beautiful, spunky, and tenacious the obstacle.
With the attraction between them growing and the long-term survival of the town depending on the outcome, they both have a lot to lose. Neither of them will bend… until they throw in a little luck.
Love Checks In is a small town sweet romance with a satisfying happily-ever-after.

She is the author of both historical and contemporary romance that is clean and uplifting.
Grace loves reading, writing, her cats, travel, and delicious potatoes. She lives in Utah in a little house at the bottom of a little mountain, where the snow piles high in the winter.
She graduated with a BA in English from Utah State University, and then went on to study Library and Information Science from Emporia State University. When she's not writing, she works as a librarian. It’s the second-best job in the world—she gets paid to buy books, plan awesome community events, and advise readers on what books to try next. Creating stories is, of course, the best job in the world.
Her favorite places to travel include New Zealand, California, and Paris. No matter how long she's away, she always loves to come home.
I thought this book was super cute. I liked the characters and the setting. It wasn’t a mystery but it did keep me guessing how it would resolve itself. Very clean as well.
I did want this book to blow me away because the premise just sounded so appealing to me. Plus it was a short book which I saw as a massive bonus. However, I didn't enjoy this one very much.
While the book being shorter than average seemed like a positive before I started, the book just felt like it was lacking. It seemed as if the characters went from just being on opposite ends of a situation to then being completely in love with each other and I just don't feel like there was enough build up for that. They had known each other for about a week and then suddenly he'd completely changed his mind about everything that he had been working towards for years. It just seemed like there was nothing that actually happened in the story. The descriptions and some of the communications between the main characters were beautiful to read, especially when they were talking about their dreams for the land that they were fighting over, but I just think the book in its entirety lacked substance.
I really wished I could have liked this book more because the idea and plot for this book sounded amazing. Unfortunately I just couldn't. I kept reading, hoping that there would be more or a twist that showed their feelings for each other more but it just never happened. It seemed there were some chances for drama but then it just never went anywhere.
Absolutely adorable !! I read it in one sitting and actually liked every character , it was not very intricate and there was no plot twist but sometimes that's exactly what you need . A "makes you feel happy" book , really cute !
The split POV meant that we got to know the characters more, which I really enjoyed and I loved Penny and Mav. I do wish we got more interaction with some of the other characters, but knowing the book was shorter I suppose it's a trade off.
The plot itself was much in the same as every other romance book you can pick up off the shelf, but the authors witting made this one fun!
It was really well written and felt so easy to read and get drawn into.
Plus the cover was adorable (I'm a sucker for those pastel-y covers😍)
A good book that was the perfect tonic after reading a few heavy stories beforehand.
I absolutely adored this short little rom com. It should be an abc family short film or like previous reviews say, a hallmark movie! Enemies to Lovers tropes are one of my faves! The storyline, plot, characters… everything… wasThe author did a remarkable job with this and I look forward to reading more books from them!
Oooh boy, the main couple hit it off right away, but they are on opposite sides of the resort development plan. They cannot fall for each other. Yeah, that's not how these stories work.
The fun part of the story is seeing how they work things out. It was unpredictable and perfectly sweet.
DNF. I got 15% into this book and it was the cringiest thing I have ever read. It was your very basic beginning of a rom com but cringier. Only 180 pages and I could not make it further than 15%.
Lo inicié, pero tuve que pararlo. Peor cuando lo retome lo leí de un tirón y amé cada segundo. Es rapidísimo de leer, y es como un safe place, me encantaron los protagonistas ❤️❤️
