A Reason to Vote

Rate this book
The Natural Law Party was founded in 1992 to create a new mainstream political party that would offer voters forward-looking, prevention-oriented, commonsense solutions to America's problems. Here is the remarkable story of the party's founding and its successful efforts to enter the national political arena, as well as the party's point-by-point platform to lead the country into the new millennium and an update by the author for the 2000 elections.

Recommended for anyone who voted for Marianne Williamson in the 2020 Democratic primary - or was going to before she dropped out.

The author claims to be a 3rd party, but it seems the Natural Law Party's solution to everything was Transcendental Meditation or killing nuclear power; and whatever wasn't covered by those two just fill in whatever Marianne Williamson campaigned on for the 2020 primary and that is pretty much the book. So basically NLP in 1999 were Democrats 20 years later plus TM and no nukes. Given this, it's not hard to see why the NLP is no longer around - the overwhelming majority of their voters probably vote Democratic now with a few die hard 3rd partiers voting Green.
