- Libro acquistato a Giugno 2021 -
In questo volume credo che siano raccolti tutti o comunque la grande maggioranza dei racconti (se ne contano 50 in questa edizione) di Rainer Maria Rilke [1875-1926], grande poeta e scrittore austriaco di origine boema: molti di questi racconti sono autentici piccoli capolavori perché al di là dell’intreccio mai banale, con una scrittura limpida ed elegante lo scrittore svolge composizioni armoniose capaci di affascinare fin dalle prime righe.
Impossibile citare tutti i tesori di questa raccolta di testi brevi che mi hanno sedotto con il loro svolgimento e l’atmosfera che li accompagna, ne cito alcuni che mi sono rimasti più impressi:
Penna e Spada, Papaveri, La Cassa dorata, Primavera Incantata, Una Morta, Eppure nella Morte, Un Evento, L’Amante, La Vicina, Un Uomo di carattere, Il Sacrificio, La Festa in Famiglia, Vecchi, Unico, Tutte in Una.
Inevitabile che in una raccolta così copiosa e variegata nei temi e nello sviluppo ci sia un certo numero di racconti che non mi ha soddisfatto o mi abbia lasciato perplesso o dei quali io non abbia saputo cogliere il significato o seguire con attenzione lo svolgimento, ma per chi come me non sa apprezzare la poesia, questo libro di racconti è stata la migliore occasione per cogliere e assaporare le qualità narrative di questo indimenticabile autore.
