The Bluelite Message

Rate this book
Keith Dartman asserts everything possible in his limited, human inheritance to bring light and redemption to a fallen world. Not yet a disciple of Jesus Christ (though, the seeds have been firmly planted), Keith begins his sparkling journey to the gates of Heaven, an earnest petitioner, discharging his royal dance "Bluelite," a broken heart in priestly sacrifice, and a tender grace to redeem others. Accordingly, "The Bluelite Message" has become a valuable primer for the New Testament’s power and authority in our Lord Jesus Christ, and its ability to transform lives.

Very strange plot and under developed characters but I was able to follow along for the most part and did finish it! Average 3 stars.

My rating system is as follows:

5 stars - Excellent, Worth Every Penny, Made It Into My Personal Library!
4 stars - Great book, but not a classic.
3 stars - Good overall, generally well written.
2 stars - Would not recommend based on personal criteria.
1 star - Difficult to read, hard to finish, or didn't finish. Wouldn't recommend purchasing or reading.

I am not a fan of this book. I didn't understand what was going on more than half the time and I felt absolutely no connection with any of the characters. Don't get me wrong, it was an interesting concept but the way it was written made it feel like there was no story and that almost nothing happened throughout the whole thing. I can see how some people in contact with their spiritual side may enjoy this book, however I am not and so i did not.

Brilliant, but feel a little bit cheated as it's quite short. Would like to see 6 or 7 thousand sequels though, or similar works from this innovative, extremely eloquent wordsmith.

I won a copy through the Goodreads' Firstreads program.

I'm not sure exactly why I didn't like this one. The book has an interesting premise, and the writing is decent - I just couldn't get into it. After picking it up and attempting to read since last October, I struggled to finish. I'm sure this is a great book, but the mixed reviews show me it just doesn't speak to some people. Still cannot put my finger on why...

I'm going to say I read it, but I tried several times and I just didn't get it. I was confused most of the time.
