Sara, abducted from Earth by cruel aliens, is used as a torture slave and left to die.
Solron, a healer of Kelon, is annoyed at being ordered to go on a cleanup mission to check abandoned enemy war bases.
When he and the crew discover a small human woman on the brink of death, Solron manages to save her. But the beautiful little human stirs more within him than his need to heal.
Under Solron’s care, Sara falls deeply in love with the alien doctor and he claims her for himself. But when confronted by the Xerson who tortured her, Solron demands a fight with him.
Sara knows she has no choice but to let them fight, but will she now lose the man she loves to the curled Xerson, or will justice at last be served?
I am a full time mother and part time writer. I live in a small country town in Victoria Australia. I have been writing ever since I learned to read, and almost endlessly drifting off into the fantasy world of my imagination.
Thankfully, I have a great group of supporting writer friends; a husband and three; currently small children who help keep me grounded.
When I’m not day dreaming of creating new worlds for my stories or madly typing away on my laptop. I have plenty to keep me busy on the home front.

This was the kind of book that had me cheering for Salron and Sara as they found each other and bonded without any alpha he man antics or scheming bad guy subplots. It was sweet and emotional and I really enjoyed the couple's journey to become mates.
My only issue is the climatic fight scene. I'm an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth kind of girl so the efficient way it was handled didn't sit well with me.
Also for the price of this book I expected more in the 85 pages than what I got. The overall story just didn't support that price in my own opinion.

Solron the healer's story finally! The war between the Alliance and the Federation is over, Kelon warriors with their allies have defended the Earth and peace is finally in the galaxy.
On a cleanup mission Solron accidentally finds a barely alive Sara, human female abducted and tortured for fun as she was deemed useless for being baren. During the rest of the mission, Solron helps Sara heal both physically and mentally and falls in love with her. Will Sara stay on Earth or will she follow Solron to Kelon? Will Solron the healer be able to protect Sara even without being a though Kelon warrior? Read to find out.
It was ok. The only good bit is finding Sara, Solron caring for her & Solron shocking everyone when he easily defeats the Xerson 'Chancellor'. Sara's sister is a BITCH, blaming her for getting kidnapped & then for their parents death. Maybe it was THEM who drove their parents to their deaths not Sara. And then there was that colonel, it was so obvious he doesn't care about her well-being, & no doubt Eve gave them permission to experiment on her. HER OWN SISTER!!! I hope Eve & Sara's other sisters die a horrible death like they deserve.

This book is what it is and that is an alien story with explicit sex. The h drove me crazy during the first half of the story as she was very meek (although abuse can have that result). She was much stronger at the end of the story and I did enjoy the story. I listened to the audio book which was a detriment as the h's voice seemed to be an over the top Australian accent. The sex... I mean romantic scenes 😉 were explicit but did not overwhelm the story.
Enfin !!
I love to indulge myself in sci-fi erotic romance on occasion and Angela Castle is one of my go to gals. Saving Sara is book five in the Warriors of Kelon series and packs a much more emotional punch than the previous installments.
After being abducted and tortured by a sadistic race of aliens Sara is left for dead when they abandon their base. Solron manages to bring her body back to life, but her mind is shattered. As a dedicated healer he feels helpless. Through companionship and kind words Sara begins to recover but they soon discover that their feelings run deeper than the standard doctor/patient relationship. The plot thickens when Sara still feels compelled to go home to earth, not to mention what will happen when Solron meets the nefarious creature that caused Sara so much pain?
Sara and Solron's relationship developed over time, which made it more believable than the standard 'one week' courtship you find so often in romance novels.
There's nothing I love better than a scarred heroine being brought back by a loving hero.My only complaint would be that it just wasn't long enough. It seemed that corners were cut to make things move along quicker. I would have loved to have seen Sara's interactions with her family more, not to mention an epilogue of some sort. But when it comes down to it, I got my sci-fi fix and finished with a smile on my face.
*For those of you worried about non-con, NO worries, Sara's story does NOT include sexual torture.
Sara was abducted from Earth by cruel aliens and tortured and left to die when they abandoned the station prior to Kelon warriors arrival.
Solron, a healer of Kelon, who helped so many human females was sent on a cleanup mission to check abandoned enemy war bases. I loved his character in the previous books and I was waiting for his HEA.
During his search of the station, Solron finds a small human woman, weak and almost dead - Sara. He manages to save her and bring her back to life. It is a nicely done story of his way of caring for Sara Under Solron’s care, Sara falls deeply in love with the alien doctor and obviously he found his Corami. I enjoyed this story and how Solron fought for her even though he was a doctor without military training. My favorite story out of all Kelron warriors books.
The Warriors of Kelon books are easy-going and entertaining and always have a Happy Ending. Saving Sara is no exception. In this book, the hero, Solron, is a doctor, rather than a warrior. He gets by on his intellect and, of course, his good looks. Lets face it, we like to read about good looking males! This book was a quick read - a couple of hours for me. If you want a light filler and enjoyed the other books in this series, pick this one up. You won't be disappointed!
All the books I've read in this series I have loved but this one is my favourite! I loved Solron, an alpha male but caring, loving and fiercely protective as well and Sara suited him perfectly! And Solron proved no matter where you come from and who you are size and strength does not always mean you are the winner!!!
The relationship of Sara and Solron was endearingly sweet. Sara was abused and battered and feared everything but the gentle healer. Through his care she becomes empowered, which is a bit of a switch in this series. Its a sweet story. I very nearly gave this book 4 stars, but its end was quite rushed.
Let's get the formalities out of the way. This isn't a good book. It's not that well written. It's riddled with pointless drama. And I like it. This is actually my favorite story of the series, along with Resisting Rachel. I know I'm nuts. I'm all too well aware of that. But what chicken-soup-for-the-soul tearjerkers do for my friends, this kind of brainless fiction does for me.
Rounding up from 2.5. This has been nice diverting smut. This e-book was a bit more "eh" than the others. The sex not as diverting but was nice to see the healer get his HEA but not sure I'll read further.
I have enjoyed this series. I agree it was nice to read about Solron's HEA. Also, I liked that it touched on outer space travel rather than just Kelon, a good change of pace.
OMG Solron so deserved Sara. He was by far one of my favorite characters, even if he wasn't a warrior but a healer in the end he shows everyone NOT to mess with him or what was his, totally amazing!!
