WHOSE HOPE HE Kelton and his siblings struggle in the years following their mother’s death. But can a simple tree spark hope and purpose again?
This pair of short stories is a beautiful addition to the Taerna universe. It was really fun seeing the Ellith siblings in their youth—and meeting their mom! How sweet!
Anything 5 stars. Lovely message and such a fun addition to the Taerna stories, set before Promise’s Prayer.
“Our Adon Olam will not forsake her as He has not forsaken us. Don’t forget His promises now.”
Whose Hope He Is 5 stars. It’s no secret I love the Truth From Taerna books, and this one, set five years after Promise’s Prayer, isn’t an exception. I loved it so, so much… It was just so full of encouraging truth and hope!!
And since each of them had rooted their souls in Adon Olam as their hope, they found that in every circumstance of life, He was enough.
A lovely revisit to Taerna! The first short story is the tale of Carita’s parents and the second is the story of the four younger Ellith siblings, five years after their mother’s death. Despite the short length, both stories are filled with poignant truth like the rest of the series!
My prayer for the readers of this book is that you may receive the hope of our Father and know that He is indeed worth anything. For those of you who are already devoted Taerna fans, I hope you enjoy this glimpse into the early years of the characters you love. If you haven’t yet discovered the truths of Taerna, you can check out Promise's Prayer Promise’s Prayer to read Carita’s story of hope, fear, trust, a divine calling, and saving the world—one prayer at a time.
Anything came to me all at once—though not without much hard work. While brainstorming short story ideas, Carita’s parents strongly impressed themselves on my mind. Within a few hours of dedicated brainstorming, their story clicked into place. There is so much about their lives that I have not had space to dive into in these pages, but I hope that this brief window into their characters will encourage you in your own pursuit of knowing our Lord Jesus Christ.
Whose Hope He Is is set five years after Promise’s Prayer and lets us glimpse the lives of the Ellith siblings as they grow up at home without Mother. May this story encourage you to make God your hope in your daily life!
