Similar to the first book with the same formula, Slap Stick Comedy, Enemy arrive, over the top fight scene, aftermath ecchi. Campione is like over the top shounen manga (eg. Dragon ball) with added sense of not-so-funny humor and repetitive gags. It's often the tsukkomi (slap stick style comedy) with MC playing the straight man. He's the worst straight man ever with completely witless retort revolving around the MC trying to avoid advances from Erica or pathetically excusing himself to his sister and yuri (Both can be called the super wearisome duo due to their constant nagging which was completely nonsensical).
The order of some fight scene narrative context is confusing and not properly connect, like when describe the attacking sequence, the results always come before description of the scene, interrupting the reading/imagining flow.
The second installment of the series exceed the first one in almost every aspect. We are introduced to a new villain who is basically a king of Campiones. In the end Godou defeats, but his victory is not total, since the opponent surrendered in a way. Definitely it was a fun read, since the characters, especially Yuri, had a bit of character development and Yuri also deepened her relationship with Godou, also in more intimate way.
