كتاب غزير جداً !
"تصرف بطبيعتك" من تأليف (كين هوارد)، بعد عمل أكثر من أربعين سنة في الخطابة والتمثيل المسرحي، نقل لنا المؤلف أهم خبراته في مجال الخطابة. المميز فعلاً، هو دمج الخطابة والتمثيل المسرحي معاً. فعلاً، كم هو شعور رائع عندما تتمتع بالثقة بالنفس، واللباقة، والقدرة على الفصاحة والشعور بالإرتياح عندما تتحدث أمام الناس. ربما لا يمكن إختصار كل الكتاب في عدة أسطر، لكن كفكرة عامة، إن الوصول إلى مستوى عالي من الأداء في الخطابة يحتاج إلى مستوى أقل من الجهد، فقط إدخل في عمق خطابك، كن صادق ذو كلام صادق، تكن أفضل خطيب على الإطلاق لأنك خطيب تتصرف على "طبيعتك".

Great reference for improving public speaking. A number of exercises are included throughout and I enjoyed the appendix covering a number of great speeches.

I took a course in public speaking over a decade ago. I took this book out of the library to see what I remembered from that class.

Public Speaking is a terrible fear for many. Thankfully, Ken Howard is here to help assuage those concerns. His book is chock full of stories and quotes to help people perform their best. Howard's advice is practical. He draws his tips from years of experience.

The name Ken Howard meant nothing to me since I don't watch television or see movies. I didn't have any preconceived notions upon starting this book.

There was so much repetitiveness. The book could have been half as long. It made good points about being real when speaking in front of others, while acting that role. Overall, I'd say the author made some great points and references to how acting can be incorporated into public speaking, but there was so much that was just completely unnecessary.
