Contradictions from the previous reads. Grandma from book one has now become aunt. Tyler's eyes are open and then Abigail ' losses something that makes her, her. Still confused as to why people don't like Abby.
Narration just fine with the array of males voices.
Tyler Cooper is the law in Holiday, Montana and now with the removal of the old mayor and his crazy sister he can finally enforce the law. Even if it is only eighty-eight year old Mrs. Ellis and her proclivity for speeding 60 miles an hour in a 35 mph school zone. Mrs. Ellis, one of the worst gossips in town, was part of the old guard that thought their money could buy their way out of trouble. Trying to worm her way out of yet another ticket, she bats her eyes and sweet talks him about his looks and valentines day being just around the corner. Little does she realize that Valentine's Day is one holiday Tyler would like to see removed permanently from the calendar.
Arriving home after a long day with a slight headache and a pain that is steadily growing between his shoulders all he wants is to unwind and relax. Something he can be sure he will not be doing any time soon when a full set of beautiful iridescent pink wings painfully pop out of his back. Then to top it off his brother pops in unexpectedly and sees him in full plumage. Not phased by it Brayden asks Tyler what is suppose to be? Tyler explains he is a Cupid and he has known his destiny since he reach puberty and a Cupid visited him to tell him his fate.
Abigail Clarke is ready to move on and find some place she can grow and find someone to love her. After she has loved Tyler since she was six years old and he has yet to notice her as anything more than a little sister or a good friend. She is packing up and selling her home and moving to Denver. Then she asks him about his arrows which no one but Tyler and his own true love are suppose to be able to see. Reaching to take them away from Abigail, Tyler pricks his finger on one of the arrow and suddenly he can't believe he has never notice Abby before and makes a move on Abigail and asks her to dinner with the hopes of bringing her home to stay. Furious at Tyler she storms out of his apartment determined to leave Holiday as fast as possible.
And so the fun begins....
This is the third in the Holiday, Montana series and I greatly recommend you read them in order, starting with Charmed Spirits then Santa's Executive. I can guarantee you have never been to a town quite like Holiday, Montana, but I can promise you will wish you had. This is very fast paced novel that will make you laugh through out. I do not know if I would want to live there on a permanent basis, but can you imagine a town where witches, elves, Santa's stand-ins, even Cupid resides. Strange events happen there and the unusual is the norm. I absolutely loved this book and can not wait to read Her Lucky Love and finally find out what the deal between Brayden and Allison. The lastly there is the eldest brother Jackson fall in Looking for Ivory, where he falls for a Tooth Fairy. I am planning a trip soon to Holiday. I hope you will join me there. They welcome visitors all the time. Maybe we can find some magic of our own there.
This was the book I was looking forward to the most in this series. But I was really disappointed. The story line itself was great. The story of the two main characters was not the problem. It was the little thing throughout the book that just kept building up. I am not an expert on grammar by any means but even I could tell that there was more than a few grammar errors. That's just proof reading! Also throughout this entire book, anytime Jordan was mention they always talked about how her AUNT owed the house and how she came back after her AUNT died. Now either this book was wrong or the the first book in the series was wrong because the first book clearly said it was her GRANDMOTHER! Once again it just needs read through again to get these things fixed. Then Tyler makes the comment about Bray having a big mouth because he told all their family and friends about his "secret" but guess what he freaking told him to tell them!!! Then lastly and I know many of you will think that it is petty but it's just one of those things that has always bothered me in books, it is the lack of attention to details. When Aeneas took Abigail he put her in a dress, then Tyler brings her home and all of a sudden he's pulling up her "shirt" to look at her back. Did she feel okay enough to change? Did he change her? Or was it just another part of the magic of this town and her clothes just changed themselves while going down the road? Like I said it's just a thing that bothers me. I think that this book needs to be read through again by either the author or her team and get these things fixed. They are not huge problems but like anything in life a whole bunch of little problems make for a big one. In this case all the little bad parts of this book build up and got in the way of me enjoying the rest of it. SORRY for the bad review but I just have to be honest!
The third book in the Holiday Montana series continues to enchant and entertain.
Tyler has always been the rock steady sheriff and while the town is just starting to learn of its uniqueness, Tyler has always known of his fate, but that doesn’t mean he has accepted it. Abigail has had enough of waiting for the right guy to come along and plans to move, but before that can happen, an unknown enemy of Tyler’s drastically changes Abby’s life.
The author has created a very intriguing world with interesting twists on holiday legends that grabs the reader’s attention and doesn’t let go. The suspense builds with well written scenes and vivid descriptions by the author.
The emotions conveyed by the author as Tyler and Abby overcome the pain of the past to deal with the present issues completely engage the reader in the conflict. The characters are charismatic, entertaining and the reader can easily connect to them.
Even though I wish the author had spent a little more time on Abby’s plight, I was still very impressed with this fascinating and fun paranormal town that captivates the reader and the author’s use of quirky and entertaining dialogue adds depth and character to the unique tale. I am looking forward to reading more about the characters of Holiday Montana.
Just finished reading this book in the box set for Holiday, Montana and I must say I’m really enjoying the stories. In this case we met Abby or Abigail when she becomes friends with Jordan in the first book in this series. She’s always lived in Holiday, but has decided she is ready to leave because she’s never had a date and also because she’s in love with the town Sheriff Tyler Cooper, who’s never seen her as anything more.
Tyler is taking some much needed vacation time before Valentine’s Day hits, only because he’s one of many Cupid’s who is going to help spread love. But unfortunately, he doesn’t know he is cursed and an old enemy is after him and his one true love!
A good series with all wonderful paranormal aspects which are different to the norm of what’s out there that makes it a pleasure to read. Looking forward to reading Brayden and Jackson’s stories next😍
Abigail has loved Tyler Cooper since she was 6yo but Tyler has never seen her as anything other than the honorary Cooper sister. She decides that it’s time to move on and is moving to Denver. Tyler is going through a transformation...he’s sprouting wings and has received a package to get him started as cupid. When Abigail stops by to say goodbye, Tyler cuts himself on one of the arrows and WHAM! He suddenly sees Abigail as a woman and asks her out. Abigail thinks that it’s just a pity date and tells him off and leaves. Upon arriving home, Abigail is accosted and kidnapped. Turns out that cupid has an enemy who’s out to destroy Ty and Abby. Magic and mayhem ensues...will Ty and Abigail survive and, if they do, will they have a relationship? Another great story in the Holiday, MT/Cooper bros saga. Worth the read.
Unlike two of his brothers, Tyler has known that he is a cupid. What he didn't know is that he has an enemy determined to have revenge on the original Cupid. Abigail has loved Tyler Cooper all her life it seems, but he still doesn't see her, so she has given up on him loving her and decided to leave Holiday. Fortunately, Tyler wakes up in time to realize that Abigail is the woman for him, and he will do whatever is necessary to keep her in his life. Unfortunately, the being responsible for Tyler being unable to recognize Abby as his love will threaten both of their lives. I adore all these characters. They are well written, funny, and compelling. I was rooting for them. Some exciting action, sexy interactions between the main characters, surprising twists in the plot, and a happily ever after make this book hard to put down. Needless to say, I loved it!
I listened to this on audiobook, book 3 of a 5 book series.
So I wanted something light hearted, little funny and not too serious and this series and all it’s characters are definitely fitting the bill.
This has been a fun entertaining story throughout, enjoyed getting to know Tyler Cooper a lot more, seeing what makes him tick and seeing him realise that he is and has always been in love with the lovely Abigale. It was cute, light hearted with a bit of action, both of the naughty sexy action but also the nasty baddy sort of action too. All good fun.
So will I be moving on to the fourth book in the series, yep I definitely will be. Each of the 5 books are based on each of the Cooper brothers, so I’m looking forward to getting to know the last 2 remaining brothers as the series progresses.
This is book 3 in the Holiday, Montana series. It's about Tyler Cooper and Abigail Clarke. I recommend you read the first 2 books in the series so you understand some of the back story between Tyler and Abigail. It will definitely make a little more sense if you do. That being said, Tyler is the town sheriff who is a jerk to Abigail although we don't really know why. Abigail is the sweet friend who has watched her friends find their loves and just wants to find her own. She had hoped it would be Tyler but she has given up and decides to move on. There are some twists and turns and lots of humor when he realizes he has to be cupid. I loved it, it was sexy, quirky, and funny without being annoying. And then you throw in some suspense? Well worth a read in my opinion! Great series!
Read in the box set books 1-3. Not real keen with manwhores as hero’s. Though Tyler had been cursed/blocked whatever you want to call it and it was not his fault he didn’t SEE Abigail, that didn’t mean he had to sleep with every women in the county. Abigail was a sweetheart and even after what happens to her she manages to maintain her spirit but I thought it mean that the horrible magick could not be reversed and where was THE Cupid to clean up the mess of his creation. Hope Tyler is making it up to Abigail for the rest of his life but glad Abigail stood up for herself with the rest of that crazy town.
I love this town!!!! The people living here are finally starting to realize that their town is not ordinary. The town Sheriff Tyler has always known that he was special and would one day become something else but he hasn't really accepted it. Abby is tired of seeing Tyler every day and knowing he's not hers and she can't get him to notice her. However, things are about to change. Tyler will need to protect sweet Abby and in the process fall in love. He will also become the next Cupid!!!Carrie Ann Ryan really knows how to grab a reader and pull them in, I love everything she writes!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I LOVE THIS AUTHOR!! Finding Abigail brings a nice mix of small-town magic with a dash of fate and destiny. Tyler’s slow realization of his feelings for Abigail, paired with the Cupid mythology, creates a lovely love story. Abigail’s struggle with her own self-worth, compounded by her unrequited love, makes her a relatable character. The tension between the two is sweet, and Tyler’s transformation from a guarded sheriff to a man willing to fight for love is heartwarming. Add in the mystical enemy and you have a really enjoyable read.
I wanted to read the story of Abby and Tyler after reading the first two books, but after this one....I'll stop reading this series. Why? It's a bit far-fetched for me. IF these stories were in a make-believe world, not a town in Montana, I'd be more apt to call them quirky and cute and move along. But, as mentioned, it's set in a realistic (but fake) town in Montana with seemingly real (but fake) people and I just can't buy it.
I was waiting for the Cupid story this was a cute story about Cupid I never expected that Abigail would become something special too. I enjoyed reading about a cupid who didn't actually want the job but who was the best person for the job. This was an interesting series and I liked the concept of the series.
This was the book I was most waiting for!! I liked Abby in the first two books so I was thrilled to read a book all about her. I fell in love with Tyler in the first two books but absolutely adored him in this book! The angst and what they had to go through was scary but really helped with the development of the story and characters! I am enjoying reading about the changing Cooper family.
Tyler is the town sheriff and doesn’t what to think about his magic – but it comes out when he’s on vacation and then he realizes almost too late that he’s in love with Abigail (he’s the only one to call her that) – she’s leaving town when she’s take by Aeneas and turned into a harpy – can love cure her and will they have an HEA, only time will tell
I really enjoyed this story! It was great to finally see these two come together and for Tyler to finally see Abby for who she was and who she was to him. I loved watching him prove himself to her and accept her for all the changes that she was forced through. I really enjoyed this and am excited for the next Cooper.
My most anticipated but it fell flat. I know this is older, but I also didn't enjoy this one as much because we get super judgmental people and a lot of shaming for both the heroine and a bunch of other women too. I wish it would've stuck with the more paranormal elements like the previous book.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I freely leave this honest review. While the beginning is a little sad it rebounds fast to sexy, hot and quirky. The pink wings gave me a giggle and the bad guy with not pink wings the creeps. This is a fun read.
This was cute, and sassy, and sad, and sexy. This time Cupid strikes in Holiday, but before he can get his HEA, he has to overcome the embarrassment of pink wings, a curse, an evil anti Cupid, and help his true love cope with becoming a harpy. Lots of laughter, sexy scenes, and sweet romance.
This is a delightful little book. This is my first book in the series. I enjoyed the fun and play in the paranormal world. Tyler and his family seem to be completely magical. I almost forgot he was sheriff of the town.
I did listen to this on audio. Gregory Salinas does a good job.
