Private Damien Stone is living in a nightmare. He's out on exercise on Salisbury Plain with Lance Corporal Michael Scott—who also happens to be a huge pain in the arse. He's a teacher's pet who seems to delight in bossing Stone around. But that's not the real reason Stone appears to dislike him so much. It's because Stone—who's bisexual—is seriously attracted to his superior, but he can't do anything about it, because Scott is straight. Or is he?

A PWP with two soldiers who get together during an exercise out in the Salisbury Plains.

I would be the first to tell you that I don't mind PWP...at all. Some sexy times between two alphas = fuck yeah.

What I did mind was that the anal sex just happened pretty much spontaneously without lube and condoms without talking about it except for one of the men asking the other "Do you like to bottom?"

description

I should just pretend that this story took place in a fantasyland where STDs don't exist and a man's "back passage" (author's words, not mine) is self-lubing...

Also, this 18-page short story ends at 77% with the last four pages being oh-so-graciously dedicated to other books' excerpts.

Short, hot and unashamedly erotic, this is a snippet from the life of two soldiers who suddenly discover they are interested in each other in a totally non-work related way. Since this happens while they are on an exercise in the middle of nowhere in southern England, they decide to give in and see what happens. Not even the impending rain can stop them.

Scott is the superior officer, and he has no idea why Stone is so reluctant to take orders. After all, they are soldiers, and that is their job, right? He forces a discussion, trying to find out the reasons, but gets quickly derailed by Stone staring at him. Just the opening move he had never dared hope for.

Stone may hate taking orders from his superior, Scott, under normal circumstances, but when he gets 'ordered' to bend over, he is only too happy to comply. And he never regrets it for a moment, his only conclusion to come better prepared next time by taking lube.

If you like short, hot stories that focus on the physical, and if fit soldiers getting out of their uniforms and forgetting where and who they are sound like a fun read, then you will probably like this short story.

Too brief for me to even feel any sort of connection to the MC's, one big sex scene and not even that saved it for me. Some sexy foreplay or teasing would have been a bonus and added that extra something to the story. Not for me!

Ditched by Lucy Felthouse
You got to love a man in uniform, but if there are two that’s even better. Man Lucy really knows hot to write a sizzling short story. She gives new meanings to obeying your superior officer. What would you do if you were stranded in the rain with someone you thought was hot but wasn’t sure they batted for the same team? Well Lucy will tell you all about what these two officers did. Yummy! If you like some M/M action than this will satisfy your thirst. This was a great quick read by Lucy.

Super short, super hot story of two soldiers on a field exercise. Just happens that Damien can’t stand his superior, Michael. Michael is a rule follower, a straight arrow, …. Or is he?

Mainly this is the initial sex between the two, steamy and new. This is just the first chapter in the story of Damien and Michael. I’d love to read more of these guys and see what happens with them.

Ditched was a super short story. It was well written, but just did not have the typical Felthouse feel that I have come to love. It felt rushed and somewhat unplanned. I enjoyed what Felthouse tried to accomplish, but the execution just didn't hit it out of the park for me.

Despite not enjoying this story a lot, I will continue to read Felthouse stories.

I was given this in return for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads.

Another wonderful short story from Lucy.

What is better than a man in uniform? Yep, two men in uniform, and boy does Lucy deliver!

Out on manoeuvres is the last place you would expect to discover that your companion 'bats for both sides'. Stone & Scott get down and dirty in a ditch - how marvellous!!
