For years, Falisa Walker stood in the shadows of her husband Timbo as he ruled over their drug empire. They lived lavishly as King and Queen while calling shots from New York to Augusta, Georgia. Their Columbian connect in Miami, ensured their place at the top of the game.
They lived the dream, until the feds raided their mansion and snatched Falisa and her husband, leaving their twelve-year-old son to hold down the Throne. He did everything his father asked; even placing his own life in jeopardy to prove that he was capable of walking in the shoes that were left for him.
One simple mistake turned their entire family upside down, and their son was left to swim the waters with the Great Whites. Loyalties are tested, and bonds are strained as young Fly learns that the road to the throne is no cakewalk.

The Throne by Cole Hart is the beginning of a series. This was a complete story standing by itself. It is a violent story. Lot of murders, assassination and drugs. It starts with Timbo and his wife Validate giving a birthday party for their daughter. They are drug kingpins on an elaborate estate. They have an excess of money. This story is told from Falisa's point od view. Just after the FBItells her all charges are dropped. Then she relates the story to her nurse. They get arrested during Amil's birthday party. Timbo calls his twelve year old son Fly from prison. He calls the shots and tells Fly what to do.
Cole Hart has done it again in his latest release " The Throne". This is the story of Falisha Walker and her husband, Timbo. The two are at the top of their game and have solidified their place on the throne of one of the biggest drug empires the streets have ever seen...that is until the feds raid their home thus leaving their 12 year old son, Fly, to take over the family business. Will Fly have what it takes to hold onto the throne or will his life forever be changed?
What can I say about this book? Cole Hart has crafted a tale so intricately designed, it will leave you breathless and wanting more.It pulled me in from the very first page and didn't let me go until the very last. There were so many twists and turns that I truly did not see coming. My only complaint... I need part 2! :) Job well done. 5 stars!
Wow! Cole Hart has done it again. I read this book from beginning to end with no breaks. It kept my attention from the first page all the way to the dedication page at the end. I love how he includes suspense in to his style of writing Urban Fiction. Yes. There is street action in the book, but it actually tells a story. A story that will have you on the edge on your seat, talking to the screen and breathing fast wondering what will happen next. I promise you , I will be one of the first if not the first to get The Throne II as soon as it is released!! Great Job!! Bravo!!
a young boy is put to the test to hold his family down.Do you think he will be able to uphold the throne?
This was a interesting read although at times I felt that it was unrealistic. It grabs you in right from the first sentence and before you know it you are finished with the book.I will continue to follow this story just because I'm interested in finding out what happen hopefully part two will be more realer.
This was my first read by Cole Hart and I am pleasantly surprised. It was a great read from beginning to end (even though I hate to be continued), this author paint a lovely portrait of a family in turmoil. He vividly shows what happens when the lion of the family gets to big head for the jungle and has to be de-throned, for the well being of all involved. Can't wait to start part 2!!!!
Awesomeness one of my favorite books ,this young man was Smart courageous with a great spirit ...I love the development and process of the the STORYLINE have me open no matter how many times I READ this Series .....ENTERTAINING AND CREATIVE WELL DONE
This was the 1st book I read by Cole Hart and I must say it was very good. The fact that the setting is Augusta, GA took me to a whole new level and made me want to read it even more because I used to live in Augusta for a short term so I knew about 90% of the locations mentioned, and he described them to a tee! I've never read a book where a 12 yr old was in the game, I was shocked needless to say. I will say that I was glad Timbo got what and the kids we able to reuite with each other and see their mother again. I'm really looking foward to reading the next installment in this series, and adding Cole to my list of favorite authors.
Lil Fly is the man at 12 years old. When his mom and dad got locked up on a federal charge, Timbo put him in charge of the "blueprint" to get him out. Little did Fly know he was only a pawn in Timbo's twisted game of power. He f💀cked up when he involved Amil, his daughter and Fly's baby sister into the mix. Can't wait to see if he got a hold of Hawk, also his brother.💞💞
this was so good like that Falisa was telling the story. Timbo shouldn't have did Fly like that he was doing what he asked. I cant believe he just wanted to keep manipulating him I'm glad he went an seen his mom an she told him what to do. I know Timbo was kicking his self in the butt for his stupid mistakes it came back to bite him.... cant wait to read 2!
Even tho i read this before so long ago its still held my attn. It was just as good as the first time. Timbo turned Fly into his worst enemy. Timbo was so wrong for what he did to his own daughter. Falisa was very smart. Now who's going to take over the THRONE. Loved it
Reading this again was like reading it for the first time. I got stuck in Fly's web and was caught up until the very last page. It's hard to believe that he is so young. Falisa is that girl. She is not the one to play with. I really didn't care too much for Timbo, especially after what he did to his own daughter. So ready for part 2.
This book is definitely worthy of 5 stars. All the drama that comes with backstabbing between family is surreal. It's really a dog eat dog world in the world of gangsters and their families. Fly and his friends are out for revenge. It will be interesting to see how all this plays out. Great writing I can hardly wait for part 2.
As a purveyor of urban literature I have one thing to say: It is about time a writer comes STRONG with a story that is original, spellbinding, literate and leaves me wanting more! I am new to Mr. Hart but I promise to be a fan as long as he keeps bringing strong characters and storylines. Now excuse me while I start part 2!
First book I've read by this author and it was a hit. I was able to visualize the characters and see them within the story. Timbo thought he had everything in the bag with his family or thought he had a plan that was well thought out, but realized that he forgot that he taught his son Fly well. I looking forward to reading book 2 to see what happens to Timbo's other son Hawk now.
It was hard for me to get into this book! It was just all over the place, with the characters and the storyline. I hate to start books and not finish, so I'm going to try to press through the next one.
Wow, who would of thought that a 12 yr old would be in his grind the way he is. His crew , definitely has he s back. His part taught him well and loyalty always comes first.
Excellent read. Cole Hart I really enjoyed it. Timber was a piece of work but Falisa is nothing to play with. For Fly to be young he's definitely learning what it takes to sit on the Throne. Love the storyline and can't wait for part 2
I knew Timbo greed and manipulative ways would get him killed.serve him right for putting both his kids in harm's way. Well mama bear was working her magic in the feds. And poor amil she was innocent in all this. Great book.
Too boring for my personal liking.. And it was way too unrealistic in my opinion. Book moved at a snail's pace and definitely did not need to end on a cliffhanger setting up a part 2. I seriously doubt I will read part 2.
The characters had depth, not the Stephen King type deal where your get allot of good but unless information. But, enough to give quick insight on mindset. Action packed , heart pounding, page turning thriller. Worth every cent....on to part 2
I enjoyed this book I really taught Me a lesson on never judge a book by its cover just because a person is young they can still take charge and man up.
