The secret is a new method of dealing with how you take action, which
allows you to be yourself, leaving requirements that you change your way of
acting far behind you. No more struggling to be what someone else says is the
ideal you; your energy instead can go towards acting in ways you are naturally
suited.  Trust Your Guts
leads to results based on the identification of specific Action Modes,
instinctive patterns of behavior. A simple set of exercises designed to trigger
the creative process causes mental muscles to more effectively and efficiently
capture that personal power.
Although the basis of this method has been around for centuries as a

Kathy Kolbe and Amy Bruske have succeeded by trusting their instincts.

Kathy Kolbe is the global leader in discovering and accessing the power of human instincts. She’s done the brain research to prove the relevance of her Kolbe Theory of Conation to individual and organizational success. Kathy was the first person to connect conative behavior to instinctive drives, which she postulated as the source of the patterns of mental energy commonly known as a person’s MO.

Amy Bruske is the president of Kolbe Corp and leads seminars for business leaders throughout the world. She was recently named Business Owner of the Year by the Phoenix chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

Kathy and Amy are both award-winning consultants and advisors to over 3,000 family-owned businesses, as well as to Fortune 50 companies, and both are also sought-after speakers. As mother and daughter, working together for more than two decades, Kathy and Amy have personally experienced every situation discussed in Business Is Business. Neither recalls a time when she wished she were working anywhere else.

I really like the Kolbe Concepts. The information is invaluable and one of the best tools for reducing stress in the workplace and in relationships. That being said I did not like the way it was presented in this book. I did not like the Question and Answer format which felt forced and contrived. If you are a Fact Finder / Follow Thru like me I recommend reading Pure Instinct. Both contain the same information just presented in different ways. If you prefer the "learning through fable" approach read this one.

Give you core principles with simple explanations to back it up with anecdotes. Avoids causing the reader to overthink concepts and start acting/executing with a good level of confidence among uncertainty. Great book to get you out of your head and get moving.

Not helpful. If this book was the first book I read on the Kolbe Index, I wouldn't touch the Kolbe at all.

The method is decent. The book spends more time trying to convince you of how valuable it is than being valuable.

Audio - I love the Kolbe index (Kolbe.com). However, this could be the most boring, worst narrated book of all time.
