If you're looking for an epic horror novel, Demon Blood: Enlightenment is it.

The story follows several strangers coming together to prevent the end of the world. A lonely drifter, following the gruesome murder of his wife and unborn child, is struggling to find his purpose in a world filled with evil and insanity, as he searches for the entity that led his life astray. A low-budget horror producer—and recent widow—has traveled across the states to seek out a man she believes to know the truth about her husband's mysterious suicide. Two brothers are left homeless when demonic spirits ransack their quiet country home, setting it ablaze, violently killing their parents, and forcing them into an enduring pursuit toward the truth. A mother's world is shattered when she realizes her daughter's soul has been taken hostage by one of Hell's most dangerous villains. Ultimately, their separate paths interweave seamlessly as they come together in order to prevent disaster. They must stop a darkness from which no one will emerge. Even if victorious against the infernal forces, not all of them are guaranteed to survive.

Between Heaven and Hell... Stands Humanity.

AMAZINGLY DISTURBING...A MUST READ!!!

Once in a while you'll find a book so disturbing, that you just need to put it down and try to forget about it. On rare occasions, something tells you to continue. Those brave enough to do so, will reap the rewards (and perhaps a few nightmares) of an epic story that stays with you forever.

I don't scare easily, especially from things that aren't realistic. What truly frightens me are stories that aren't necessarily so far fetch. Demons exist...there goal is for humanity to suffer and turn our backs to the almighty one. Similar to films such as The Exorcist, The Conjuring, etc. Demons Blood had me pause, wait a few seconds. Turn a light on and continue with this haunting story.

This book, yet only fiction also has some truth to it. Its not trying to push religion at you. It's a story of Good vs Evil. Those in the light who struggle to survive a world that's more darker than ever. The end is near, and demons crueler than Mr.Giggles are coming for us...

I've grown to be such a huge fan of anything Tim does, and Enlightenment: Demon Blood Book 1 was no different. The book follows Danny Samson and Andrea McCloud, who find each other in the midst of their own chaotic battles in life. Together, they team up to battle a slew of demons and beasties in a gnarly war of heaven and hell, good vs evil. The characters are excellent and the plot that unfolds with the treacherous GallAnt is pure fun. Strong recommend from me and I'm excited to tackle books two and three!

Demon Blood:Enlightenment was an enjoyable novel with lots of tension and fun. This is a first novel and there are so minor typos and I had minor issues with some of the descriptions but these are minor issues. The author created interesting characters that I was invested in. There is a good about of backstory which I felt was necessary and was neither too much or too little. There was a lot of tension through the book and the book moved along quickly. Once all of the character threads came together there was a lot of fun action and gore. A second book has been published and I am excited to continue the story. Overall this was a fun and tense first novel that I enjoyed. It is recommended.

Great read

This was a well written book with more than a few typos or missing words, I chose to ignore them because I was so interested in what would happen next.

I received this book for free via the First Reads Giveaway. The characters were very thorough and their stories tied together great. The ending kind of left you wondering and I hope that this book will have a sequel.
Overall, it took some patience to read through the back stories with little happening, but once you progress through, it becomes apparent why it mattered. I would definitely give this book a chance if you had any interest in horror- style, apocalypse books.

I really enjoyed this book. Right from the first paragraph, it was action-packed and scary. I liked the twists and turns, how unrelated characters came together, and secrets were revealed throughout the entire book.

I finished the book in only a few shorts days because as soon as the "ending" started---there was no putting the book down after that.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys horror.
