Her capture will set her free…

Aussie playboy, world traveler and landscape photographer Chance Hathoway recognizes a miracle of nature when he sees it. He comes upon her unaware, swimming in the nude. Camera in hand, his instinct is to capture her ripe, naked abandon. But he longs to possess more than just her image…

When Sherona Legion suddenly discovers that she’s being watched at her most vulnerable she’s surprised at her reaction. It’s not embarrassment or anger. It’s pure, unabashed arousal. She likes it—enough so that she’s willing to take an unprecedented risk with the sexy photographer.

Thrilled at having the exhibitionist in her awakened, she agrees to Chance’s offer to pose for a series of nude photographs—stimulating tableaus of bondage. It leads Chance and Sherona to intimate and unparalleled experimentation. But how much is Sherona really ready to give to a complete stranger? And how much more can Chance take?

I really enjoyed this book just like all the other books Beth Kery writes. I think her writing is awesome and she sure knows how to write steamy sex scenes. There is always more to her stories though and not just the sex. This story was original and hot, hot, hot!!!

Wildly Sweet

Beth Kery has a great way of telling a story. Her characters come alive immediately and the story just jumps from the page when you start to read.

The only thing I'd wish for is to find out how things turned out for Chance and Sherona.

But I know I'll enjoy reading this again!

Since this is a novella, instant attraction was unavoidable, but this one is not too bad and quite believable.
But after two books in succession, and a preview of another book by Ms. Kery, I became familiar of her trademark: punish and dominate. It's not that I didn't like her books, but to avoid boredom, I think I should stay away from a while

Whew! That was hot. Ms. Kery definitely knows how to evoke passion.

I received this book through a holiday book exchange. I requested it, of course, but I have a bad habit of marking a book to read and then forgetting what it was about. I'm sure I'm not alone, lol. But it's kinda fun because then when I get around to reading it, I don't really know what I'm getting into.

But I don't recall this storyline. I probably requested it because it's Beth Kery and I know I'm going to get a goodie from her. But wow, this was steamy with a bit of build up, but not too much, because it's not a long story.

Sherona has lived in tiny Vulture's Canyon her entire life. When she was 18, her parents were killed, and so she was sort of stuck there, running the family diner as well as raising her 8-year-old brother. Roughly ten years later, she's content with her life. Or maybe just resigned to it. She's not unhappy, but maybe merely existing.

A skinny dip in the local pond where she thinks she's alone begins a series of events when a renowned landscape photographer visiting from out of town catches her -- and captures her on film -- emerging from the pond. And Chase is captivated by her. She sees him, but rather than bolting, something about him watching her makes her feel empowered. And when they meet a couple of days later at the diner and he propositions her for more pictures (for himself only, he's not skeevy), something about him instills trust, and she agrees. And I have no idea how they didn't melt everything around them during that photo session.

Ultimately, it's a really sweet HEA. Their reuniting was just as smoking as the rest of their interactions. But really sweet, too. Another great story from Ms. Kery.

I was hoping for Sherona's story after Addicted to You, and it didn't disappoint. She's beautiful with a good head on her shoulders, and Chance is Australian and a famous photographer who's really down-to-earth and instantly lovable. I love the whole concept of this series, that each couple starts with a one-night stand. But the writing is strong enough that each individual story is much more fleshed out that the premise suggests. I also really appreciate the social issues that the author touches on with the charitable organization that Sherona and her town Vulture's Canyon have rallied behind in providing healthy, affordable food for the poor families of the Appalachian region, which isn't one I've ever seen tackled in a romance before, but I really applaud the attention brought to it. Sherona and Chance are a great couple, the sex is off the charts, and their HEA by book's end is completely believable.

Captured by You by Beth Kery – C+ Very sexy novella which is part of the “One Night of Passion” series. The hero was Australian and some of the slang was misused which jarred for me (for example, “Blimey” is more English than Australian and “starkers” means naked, not crazy). The idea of Chance taking photos of the heroine naked was a little on the squicky side for me initially but I did suspend my disbelief and buy into the set up. There is a rather fortunate and miraculous event which solves their major conflict which was a little disappointing in terms of “realism” but that’s probably being overly picky because what part of the book is “realistic” anyway? Sexy photographers come across nubile naked women in the forest and offer to tie them up all the time right? It’s fun and enjoyable but not earthshattering. I am however, looking forward to Exposed to You in a major way.

I'm choosing to give this novella 4.0 stars simply because it's fantasy through and through. It's like porn for women. The sex in this story is mind-blowingly hot, and borders on the razor-thin edge of darkness that's spawned from bondage, voyeurism, and a little bit more. I say it's fantasy because it's absolutely and completely unbelievable; as in, there's no way in hell that this would ever happen in real life to real people. I'm not going to give specifics because I try not to give spoilers, so just read the damn thing! Definitely would recommend this for a quick but sizzling hot read!

Good read. Short novella. Very, very sexy read. Characters are Sherona, diner owner, waitress and Chance photographer, millionaire. Accidental meeting brings both together but Sherona is wary. Sherona is living in remote hills of Vulture's Canyon. She has seen nothing of the outside world and would like to be able to be free to travel. So she takes a chance on Chance. The rest is a very erotic and sensual read. I really enjoyed this book and would be willing to guess I will re-read this book soon. It is about 100 pages long and would be easy to squeeze this into my list of book to read.

Well this one opened with a bang! I loved that Chance stumbled onto Sherona and was compelled to take her picture without her knowing, that her beauty bowled him over. I expected Sherona to get really mad at some point, especially when Chance showed her the pictures. Instead it allowed her to see herself as beautiful. It was at this point I knew there would be more pictures, I just hoped that there would be more for them!

I realy like Beth Kery's erotic romance novels, but lately, I am all sexed out, I need more than an "instant attraction at first sight" scene at the beginning of the book and a heroine who is so mesmerised by the hero that she instantly poses naked and roped for him and wants to orally satisfy him.

To be fair, if you are in the mood for good smut this is the right choice, because the author knows how to write good sex but I just need more at the moment, therefore I go with a C+.

I guess I was bound to encounter a substandard Beth Kery book at some point and this is it. It's a novella, so I guess it's to be expected, by the heroine's character seemed wildly inconsistent and not particularly attractive.

I have read better from Beth Kery. This could have been a really good story if the character were more developed as well as the story. If you like erotic stories you will like this but I wanted a better story.

There is something so illicit about being watched and photographed unaware. Add in the nakedness factor and a hot Aussie wielding the camera and you've got an erotic little story. Enjoyed this one a lot. Smoking hot and sexy scences.

Sherona's story was perfect for her even if a little unreal at times. Great scenes & great interaction between H & h but the resolution was wrapped up a little too nicely.

Either way, not a disappointment and I love this series!! :)

I liked Sherona, she's gutsy, and I liked Chance. What I found icky was their idea of foreplay using erotic photography and the very icky poises Chance made Sherona assume. If you take out the photography sessions, the novella was super.

Holy Crap!!! This was hot. I wanted to be taken captive and have my picture taken if this is the outcome. I was hoping that there would be a book for Sherona since she was introduced but this was not even close to what I was expecting and I am so glad! I think Sherona and Chance were so hot!

Wow

This story was awesome. I read it in one sitting. The story is one that starts out erotic and ends that way. I could visually see the story with each page I read. You have to read this book.
