Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
Since I really enjoyed the Lady Blue Crew, it comes to no shock to me that I really got into this one as well. At first it could be seen as a continuation of Lady Blue with a different crew. Or even a repeat with a different crew. I think there is enough difference in the storylines at this time to keep it rolling if the authors keep at it. Since I've been curious since the first series as to why End of the Line is the last stop, I'm really looking forward to expanding and exploring beyond that a bit. Hopefully the authors will feel the same since I think that will help set this as a different series in the same universe as Lady Blue.
i just finished lynn hagen stormy glenn Elite Force 1 Second Chance and i must say im a bit confused by it - i have read everything by both authors and this book was by far sadly one i really looked forward to but am very disappointed in - the sex scenes were rushed and a bit discombobulated - i kept waiting for the heat and passion that both authors generally show and then to top it off it doesnt answer 2 of the main questions - one i can understand - where will we find Tyvak but the other is who is the traitor ... i have my suspicions and then to top it off - they do a lord of the rings type ending and just poof - i am so not a fan of those

I really enjoyed this one, and was very happy with the time spent on building the characters instead of jumping straight into the sex. I really adore Kurt, and I really felt for the guy. I think I would have rated it 5 stars if the angst was deeper, and Kurt's betrayed feelings towards Ryan wasn't resolved that quickly, and if the book was even longer. I hope the other books in the series are as promising. =D
This is the start of the next set of books that involves the "Lady Blue Crew" universe - except this one features Elite Force officers who are now on a mission to track down the bad men who caused all the problems in the LBC series. If you liked that series you will enjoy this one. I recommend you read the other series first. This one has a lot of references to it and features the characters that were from it. These books are like crack to me. I know they're bad but I am totally addicted!
This was a good beginning for a series. I enjoyed the whole story. Though angsty it wasn't overly emotional. I did think that Kurt would have a little more anger in him than he did but I liked the lightness of the story. Yes, there are problems but the overall story makes you feel warm and that love can overcome everything.
3.5 stars. It got better as you read it but i really cried for all the injustice Kurt went through. Ryan had his asshole moments especially at the start. I will read the other stories in this series though. Hope it does not follow the path of Lady Blue that I never really enjoyed.
This spin off of their 'Lady Blue Crew' series took more time setting up the characters of this crew then the romance of these two. But I have a feeling we will be reading plenty more in the future.
I read this before I actually finished the LBC series. That made certian parts a little confusing but overall I was able to follow and it was a pretty good book.
