I had mixed emotions while reading this book. It was a good short story about two young people doing what every it takes to make it in life. With crackhead parents they had no choice, but to handle their own business. At various points during the story I was laughing so hard, but there were times where I felt sorry for Jackie. Poor thing just couldn't shake her looser boyfriend Ill-Will. Ill-Will was one of those types who didn't want nothing in life and wanted to make sure that he brought his woman and everything around him down in the process. He would go out of his way to try to make Jackie feel worthless, when all the time he was a worthless piece of crap that would never be anything but a low life NOTHING. Very stupid!!! Once Jackie met Otha her life changed dramatically. She finally comes to her senses and took the necessary step, so that she could begin to live the life she always dreamed of.I look forward to reading more of Sa'id's work. He did an awesome job!

ILL

It is ironic that this book pop up on my Kindle. I was just talking to a young friend of mine about her toxic relationship. =Will was a predator and Jackie was the prey. I like the way you write Sa'id. This book has me sbook; I wanted to jump in the pages and kick his punk azz. This story is a lesson that all women need to read.

A quick and entertaining read by Mr Sa'id Sa'laam. Jack & Ill is a story about a young couple Jackie & Will and their turbulent relationship. Although there were some funny moments, nothing was funny about the emotional control Will had over Jackie.

This is only my second time reading Mr Sa'laam's work but it will not be the last. The way he tells a story feels like he is sitting there innfront of you talking. His characters are well though out and well balanced to the story. Job well done!!

I loved this short story! I'm not going to lie, I was getting mad at Jackie towards the end. Her love and loyalty for Ill was something crazy. I was on the verge of calling her stupid but I can honestly say this stor...y couldn't have ended any other kind of way! Sa'id you've done it once again. By the way I hope you're working on the second part to Stud!!!!!!!!

Jackie was so native thanks to her crack addicted mother. After verbal bad physical abuse she was beautiful yet had no self esteem. Once u find love there's no talking about I'll will deserved what he got

Pretty good

I felt sorry for Jackie at the beginning but I soon felt she was just too damn dumb for me. Even though the ending was abrupt I'm glad it ended the way it did.

Nice read

This short story was really nice. I am so happy that Jackie did what was right about Will ass! Really wish it was more to this story.
