A lot of posturing and not much else. Also, the Baki storing line just isn't interesting in the least.

Baki finally gets to fight the Yakuza boss Hanayama. And he seems to be on power level of his father. It seems very unlikely that Baki will come out of this unscathed. The sheer grip strength and also the sustainability to take huge amount of damage is out of the world for this Hanayama guy. The only way Baki can overwhelm him is by his speed and technique.

Amazing choreography, powerful bloody artwork.

I think that a problem with presenting Baki in the first chapters as an invincible champion would be that we know he at least survives his encounters and is resourseful enought to learn how to bea his oponents during the fight.

Anyway, the strongest Yakusa in Japan leaves is indeed a powerful foe for Baki to take on. His arm exploding technique is visceral and always morbidly interesting to witness. Seing Baki face this move is quite cool, let's see how he inishes the battle.

The story of the Hanayama clan(?) is an epic one. I always viewed it as a badass parable for morals and the will to never give up.

Baki is still great but I’m losing interest in the flashback arc and hoping it gets back to present day
