Well, the fight between Baki and Gaia was intense. But the ending was a bit underwhelming. And now to prove that Gaia was nothing compared to him, Hanma Yujirou makes a crazy declaration at the end of the volume. So, either next volume Baki clashes with his father or there is more tragedy to witness before that happens.

I gladly take back what I said about Gaia.

This volume is dedicated entirely to this oarticular fight.

There's not much I can say other than point out the amazing coreography and counter attacks the two perform. It's truly a spectacle.

The build up to the fight is real. The anime made some wise choices in leaving certain things out. The feats of strength that both Baki and his father are using for tests are wild.

Still great. The flashback is starting to feel a little aimless. I am unsure why we are still in the flashback when it feels like I should be reading where we left off volumes ago.
