Lindsay Boxer is pregnant at last! But her work doesn't slow for a second. When millionaire Chaz Smith is mercilessly gunned down, she discovers that the murder weapon is linked to the deaths of four of San Francisco's most untouchable criminals. And it was taken from her own department's evidence locker. Anyone could be the killer--even her closest friends.
Or a vicious killer?
Lindsay is called next to the most bizarre crime scene she's ever seen: two bodiless heads elaborately displayed in the garden of a world-famous actor. Another head is unearthed in the garden, and Lindsay realizes that the ground could hide hundreds of victims.
You won't know until the 11th hour
A reporter launches a series of vicious articles about the cases and Lindsay's personal life is laid bare. But this time she has no one to turn to--especially not Joe. 11TH HOUR is the most shocking, most emotional, and most thrilling Women's Murder Club novel ever.
James Patterson is the most popular storyteller of our time and the creator of such unforgettable characters and series as Alex Cross, the Women’s Murder Club, Jane Smith, and Maximum Ride. He has coauthored #1 bestselling novels with Bill Clinton, Dolly Parton, and Michael Crichton, as well as collaborated on #1 bestselling nonfiction, including The Idaho Four, Walk in My Combat Boots, and Filthy Rich. Patterson has told the story of his own life in the #1 bestselling autobiography James Patterson by James Patterson. He is the recipient of an Edgar Award, ten Emmy Awards, the Literarian Award from the National Book Foundation, and the National Humanities Medal.
11th Hour by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro is another easy read Women's Murder Club mystery. The story was okay, but I knew Jacobi was not the rogue cop.
Lindsay annoyed me. She suspects Joe is having an affair; she packs his bags, tells him to leave. I am sure she had moved into his home, so I think she should have been packing her bags and leaving, not kicking him out of his own home.
She refuses to discuss the affair (which he denies) or even talk to him for days or weeks. Then when she is rushed to the hospital with possible miscarriage, she calls Joe. She needs him. Even though he is at airport about to leave town, he rushes to her side.
Perhaps the authors needed to put some soap opera type drama into the story. Yet Lindsay is a tough cop who acted like a teenager, not a reasonable adult. The same seems to be true of Yuki and Cindy in their relationships with men. Not the author's fault; I am not a fan of Romance novels.

-the girls are on two cases: one of a vigilante hunting down drug dealers, the other of a bunch of buried skulls found in the garden of a rush actor’s mansion -both cases lack leads and suspicions of the vigilante fall on the chief -misunderstanding between Lindsay & Joe put Lindsay extra on edge during her pregnancy -Cindy is upset about the lack of inside info from Rush & Lindsay, Yuki is dating Lindsay’s boss and Claire is overworked -the women manage to get everything filed away
Continue to love their friendships help solve murders. Lindsay is acting more childish with reacting without thinking - kicking Joe out, throwing his phone into toilet, not trusting old boss Jacobi, at least not ruining friends love lives. Finding just heads is a bit creepy, cop gone dirty, pushy reporter got what he deserved.

Lindsay is puzzled when they find to heads in a garden that they come to call the House of Head. It is possible that some of the heads or decades year old. She has to puzzle all of this out while juggling another cause.
Again an enjoyable read. If I rate on general reading I rate a four. If I rate on just Patterson it would be a 3. I just expect more from this author. Mostly because he has written considerably better in many stories.
Another amazing read by Patterson. I have to take my time between each book, cause once I start reading I can't stop. Can't put it down and just want to see what will happen. Love this series.
Took me a minute to read this one what can I say life got in the way. However, as usual there was NO disappointment. I have yet to find a book by this author that I haven’t liked.
I don't know how James Patterson keeps writing such great books! But another of the Women's Murder Club that grips you from the beginning! On to the next one!
It was the type of book that you want to keep reading, you feel you really know the characters. I didn’t like how it ended but did enjoy the book. I would recommend it.
Always a good read in between longer, more detailed reads. Characters are established and interesting and add a variety of personalities to the overall stories.
I think this was a great addition to the series but it was a little bland in my opinion. It was still really great and as always James Patterson kept me on my toes but it’s not my favorite
Several plots going on at once. Plays out like an episode of Law and Order meets Criminal Minds. Little bit of everything. Not a highly suspenseful book that will absolutely wow you but a good read.
