Kurt is also a successful trial lawyer based in the Los Angeles area representing companies and individuals in matters ranging from routine business cases to confidential Hollywood and entertainment industry disputes and transactions. A member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which recognizes attorneys who have won verdicts in excess of $1 million, his litigation strategy and legal analysis articles regularly run in such legal publications such as the Los Angeles Daily Journal and California Lawyer.

Kurt is a 1994 graduate of Loyola Law School, where he was a law review editor. He majored in Communications and Political Science as an undergraduate at the University of California, San Diego, where he also edited the conservative student paper California Review while writing a regular column in the student humor paper the Koala. He also drank a lot of Coors.

Kurt rose to the rank of Army infantry colonel on active duty and in the California Army National Guard. He wears the silver "jump wings" of a qualified paratrooper and commanded the elite 1st Squadron, 18th Cavalry Regiment. A veteran of both the Persian Gulf War and Operation Enduring Freedom (Kosovo), as well as the Los Angeles riots, the Northridge earthquake and the 2007 San Diego fires mobilizations, he is a graduate of the Army's Combined Arms Staff Service School, the Command and General Staff College, and the United States Army War College, where he received a master of Strategic Studies degree.

He loves military history, red meat and the Second Amendment. His favorite caliber is .45.

How totally COOL!

A new record sir! 12 pages in and I had to give my meager 2¢ opinion. If what I've read so far is any indication, this book should be required reading for high school graduation. If nothing else the liberals both present and future will know there's some of us who are not swallowing their swill. I am going back to read the rest and will add as necessary Bill Hodges

There is a difference between a capitalist and a conservative, a grifter and an honest human being.....if liberalism paid more, this author would write just as well for them. It gets a 2 because I read it.

Too Easy and True

Kurt is always fun to read. This iconoclastic work reminds me of the eighteenth century author Ambrose Bierce with his "Devil's Dictionary."

Helps to Understand a Deviant!

I needed this book. It gave me an understanding about the reason I would be attacked by twenty or more tweets if I dared post a Conservative reply to one person. I would then give the offended parties links and then I would be told that my proof was not enough. I then would supply more links and then more of their minions would pipe in with the name calling. I then decided to beat them at their own game and started to tweet several of my followers to 'look at this group of liberal loons berating me in this conversation. That got their liberal heads spinning and they would tweet that I was a stalker, even though the Liberals were the ones who began the group tweeting, getting and more of them to harass me. It was really funny when my Conservative friends began retreeting me. You would have thought the koolaide that the Libtards were drinking was full of crystal meth. Liberals get real nasty when disagreed with , tweeting to me "ride the edge of my d**k" "you uneducated redneck b**ch" etc.....Conservatives need to stick together and stop this soul sickness and vampirism of society that is liberal.

No, Col. Schlichter has not crossed over to the dark side and gone liberal, instead he, in this book, gives his opinions about liberals, why they are like they are and shows exactly what he thinks about them and their policies and beliefs (if any). He does it in both copies of his tweets from Twitter and opinions explaining them.

This is a book that if you are a liberal and in some cases a moderate, you will probably hate it as he mocks you and does not do it in a PC way. If you are a conservative, you may agree with him and may have a few laughs while doing it. Either way it is a good book from someone who is a major force on twitter. Plus if what he says is correct, his hot model wife needs a new couch and this will help pay for it. If nothing else do it for her :)

I loved the chapter about being open minded - I think he spent too much on twitter-like one liners.

I have to say that just when I thought Ann Coulter was a relevant firebrand, here comes Mr Schlichter. I won't go on and on here, just saying I agree with the five-star comments. I only gave it four stars because he is sometimers a bit rash and name-calling, but nothing like those liberals. My favorite snipes are where he correctly says things like "I don't hate the federal government. I like government, to the extent it should exist. We just need a federal government to do those things set forth in the Constitution... and nothing else!" And then there are gems like "Green is the new color of fascism" (re global warming scam - just follow the money trail, folks).

Even here in Canada our constitutional rights are being eroded by liberal loudmouths, as they are in the USA.

This almost makes me wanty to involve myself in Twitter.... but not quite.
