Great selection of interconnected storylines (3) that will appeal to the young ones who love LEGOS and LEGO stories.

We ordered a lot of these books from the series for our library's collection. I am slightly disappointed in them. I thought the illustrations would be made of real legos, not computer graphics. The story lines are just so so. I wish the illustrators had been more creative and thoughtful. The great thing about legos is your taking solid shapes and building structures with them. It is a form of architectural art that kids really love. However these are simple computer graphics and the story lines are simplistic and unimpressive.

So these are set like comic books unlike other books from Lego City Series. Pretty funny, really cute, and moralistic. However, I still have issue with the generic illustrations. Real LEGOS PLEASE!

Usually we enjoy the Lego city books but this one was a comic type book. On the description online I wasn't aware that it was a comic book. So we only looked through it instead of trying to read it. Very confusing for my son and even as I was looking through it with him I got a little lost as the way it was written. Could have been much better and the descriptions online should be much better too. On one website it has it as a level 1 reader and it's far from that And actually it's the #1 Lego City comic reader so people may have gotten that mixed up with it being level 1.

Nathan read this one all by himself to me. Adventures of criminal Hank loose in Lego City and how the police and firemen handled it.
