I may be biased, BUT THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! I read this 24/7 when I was little, and it made me want to get a dog. As soon as I got a dog (after 7 years of begging,) I tried to teach it to jump through a hoop. Of course, it didn’t go great, as my dog doesn’t even know how to give high fives. 6 years later, I am regifting this book to someone who will love it as much as I did!

Sam loves her dog Dottie, and can't wait to show off a trick she has learned at the local dog show. But even thought Dottie had no problem jumping through a hoop while they were training, she simply won't do it in front of the audience. Since Sam has trained her to do a high five at the conclusion of her tricks, that's exactly what she does. This is a sweet story that any animal lover will enjoy especially since it contains several illustrations that show dogs at their best.

Great for children to read on their own. Children can relate to this book if they have a dog of their own. It will help them discover how to train their dog to jump a hoop.
