This book happens to be my first foray into the Rainbow Magic series. This book is actually three books in one, and thankfully I could jump right into the adventure without needing to start from the beginning.
As far as children's books go, it's alright. It's a nice and short read that kept me entertained and will probably keep your child entertained.
The story follows two girls, Rachel and Kirsty, who have had many adventures with fairies before (there's like 200+ books in the series!). The fairy introduced in this book is Brianna, the tooth fairy. Brianna has three magical items that help her collect children's teeth: A moonstone ring that guides her to the children that lost their teeth. A coin that allows her to put money under children's pillows. And a velvet pouch that she can store the teeth in. Jack Frost, the main reoccurring villain, along with his goblin sidekicks, steal Brianna's magical items because Jack has a toothache. The two girls and Brianna go through various hi-jinks to get the items back and it all ends with Jack going to the dentist to get the problem tooth pulled.
The whole series is separated into 'mini-series', sorted by typed of fairy (rainbow fairies, weather fairies, ect.) There's not much to review in just one book, so I'll probably only do reviews when I finish one of the 'mini-series' or if I read another three in one book like this one.
