This beautifully illustrated book teaches readers about elephants. Nonfiction elements such as reading a map, and captions help readers learn the importance of reading the elements for comprehension and fulfillment.

An Elephant Grows Up is an informative book. This book describes the life of two elephant siblings. There are many significate words in the book which area going to help the children to learn more about the elephants. I recommend this book to teacher from fourth grade and up since they can create a lot of activities using this book.
