Rosemary Wells is an American writer and illustrator of children's books. She often uses animal characters to address real human issues. Some of her most well-known characters are Max & Ruby and Timothy from Timothy Goes To School (both were later adapted into Canadian-animated preschool television series, the former’s airing on Nickelodeon (part of the Nick Jr. block) and the latter’s as part of PBS Kids on PBS).

This is a very good Science book with out being an 'in your face' Science book. Exploring things from trees, to plants, to incubators for eggs and your five senses.

This series is one of the very best. Friendly characters with specific personalities that are so easy to relate to and activities that are enjoyable at home while you get ready for the big jump to JK and SK.

They can be used as a read aloud or as a guide to enjoy some projects in the home kitchen or family room. You'll read them again and again and they are a great choice for a gift or purchase for yourself.
