This edition of the book is a good improvement from the first editions. It is a more organized and categorized version, making it easier for the reader.
The course I took in history was quite demanding, so it would be unfair to judge the author because of the difficulty of the course.

For the most part, I am quite happy with this book, and I would recommend it to most students of history. I think there exsists or could be a better book for the particular course I took.
