The Wise Mind is another of the gems in the Marilyn Gordon collection of books. She clearly describes the Wise Mind and the process for handling common limiting beliefs that burden most people. The Wise Mind process can be used to get rid of negative thoughts, eliminate sadness, reduce anger, stress, and other issues that often get in the way of having a fulfilled life. I have found this to be a very effective tool when working with both my hypnotherapy and coaching clients. It is a very empowering tool for clients. I am grateful that Marilyn has been so generous to distill her wisdom and experience so that we all benefit!

I have used and taught Marilyn Gordon's Wise Mind Process to help many of my hypnotherapy clients get in touch with the negative emotions and thoughts, release them, and be in a more peaceful place to hear their own inner wisdom. It's a brilliant process that anyone can do for themselves (I use it as well) to gain clarity, insight and direction for any challenge. In this fast-pace world it's so easy to be overwhelmed, lost and unsure of how to proceed, to be disconnected from ourselves. So many people are physically ill from all of the stress. This is a wonderful way to get reconnected to our true selves and heal.

This book has really made it possible for me to quickly take a look at things that I want to change in my life. Marilyn's process is easy to follow and she offers so many applications of the process. This is a great book---both for healers/energy workers and for individuals. This really gets to the core of how we can have a self directed life, and create the things we want. The power of the mind is amazing, and this book by Marilyn Gordon is amazing and very practical.

Basically the message is to trust your gut, as your guy (superconscious) is a direct plug in to the divine and won't steer you wrong. Early chapters I really liked, but the book seemed to get a little too "out there" in later chapters for me to stay engaged. Lots of exercises included to help you get in touch with your "wise mind."
