You'd have a serious case of reader's remorse if you didn't pick this one up! ha haaa~ This is a lady that has truly lived: there's no curio cabinet, antique dealer, or decorative card box that's a stranger to her. She's made friends with miscreants and insane hairstylists. The cutest little book you could hope to read~

A really fun read, full of funny, whimiscle situations. Dwyer does a good job combining situational humor and self-deprecating inner thought processes, full of the angst of a young adult striving to find respect in a small town outside Baltimore while owning a small thrift store. The situation almost writes itself, but Dwyer takes it to another level by putting her internal thought process, and with that, the doubts, self-questioning, and getting up and living life anyway.

Picked this book up in a local consignment shop and loved it so much, I found the author on Facebook to make her my bestie! Easy, quick read. I finished on an afternoon in the park. Stories were so entertaining I couldn't put it down! Author is kitschy, cute and sweet, recommend it for any retro-nista, girl into collecting junk and hipster craft nerd.

This was a really great read. The stories were cute and funny (mostly), yet contained enough pathos to occasionally hit you in all the right spots.

Just like the author, this delightful book is genuine and quirky in all of the right ways. A must read for those who love humor memoirists a la Sedaris.

A precious book by a precious author. I can hear her saying the words out loud as I read. This little book is a must on a rainy Tuesday.
