About the author

Since 2001, Kathryn Kay has been offering writing workshops for women, private coaching, and editing services. Kathryn has yet to have a student who wasn’t surprised by the writing they produced in her workshops.

Kathryn fell in love with Italy many years ago when she lived in Florence for 5 years while studying restoration. It’s where her daughter was born, where she set her novel, The Gilder, and where she returns every chance she gets.

Kathryn has an MFA in writing and believes that returning to school as an adult is one of the best things she’s ever done.

Kathryn lives in Pasadena, CA.
