I read Volume I and II.

Out of date info makes this entirely unsuitable for current professional use, but this is a wonderful reference to familiarize yourself with the field.

Specifically deals with accounting more than bookkeeping. Higher level thinking and analysis, plus some older GAAP and SEC regs.

If the newer editions are of equal quality I 100% recommend them.
