Her Billionaire, Her Wolf #1

Her Billionaire, Her Wolf: His Every Desire

Rate this book
A billionaire story unlike any other--

She watches him every day.

For two months she has spent each lunch hour studying the enigmatic man in a restaurant always filled to overflowing; yet, for two months he is there each day in a booth all to himself.

Sara thinks she is safe as she drinks in every gorgeous detail reflected in the bar’s back mirror. She asks herself who he could possibly be, convinced that he would never notice her...convinced that no one ever does.

She couldn’t have been more wrong.

Chance brings them together and animal lust is unleashed. But what she never could have imagined is far from being the strangest part of this tale. For there are shadowy figures holding the strings offstage and the manipulation of Sara Renardine has only just begun.

I live in a land where giants have walked. Here, water springs cold and sweet from rocks cloven by legends in their passing.

Stone edifices mark the countryside, risen hundreds of years ago. Devils stalk the foothills and comely maids with webbed feet lie in wait along rough mountain passages.

France is my home and imbues all that I write...come with me, for a short while, and we shall venture among the dark, twisting paths together.

I love Aimelie Aames descriptive creations, and here starts another:)

I love Aimelie Aames use of descriptive language. I liked the start of this series, which gives a free taster, an opening only, this is why I am sticking to four stars. I dislike purchasing serials and am well known for complaining of such. However, I now know this is a full novel so am off forthwith to buy said story and then hopefully it will stand as well alongside Aimelie's other works I've read.
This is a paranormal story, werewolf by implication but not all clear as yet. Communication between life and death is it? Oh, and a spectacularly creepy note written in blood from the mysterious Journeyman are things I am now curious to find out about. But Aames erotic and BDSM scenes are so good, like an exquisite Swiss chocolate bar to be savoured.
4 stars for the opener.

Sara is addicted to a tall mysterious man who frequents the bar/restaurant she goes to daily for lunch. She doesn't know what it is about him that mesmerizes her, just that she MUST see even if they never officially meet. When a freak accident has him being her white knight she's amazed that he HAS noticed her and proceeds to do the naughty things that she's been fantasizing about. Who is he? What does he want? But more importantly, will he keep her?

This is a really quick but highly addictive read. But a big warning here. I got this as a freebie but it ends with a big cliffhanger to encourage you to buy the continuing story which is listed on Amazon for $2.99 with a 70 page (305 KB word count) and a third book in a similar fashion. So while it may seem cheap the price will be quite expensive to read the whole story.

That being said this shortie grabbed me from the start. The multiple subplots drove me crazy with their mysterious hints of intrigue, mystery, and paranormal origins. I was in zen enjoying this book until suddenly I had to scream in total frustration and denial when I got to the cliffhanger ending. It's too early to tell what direction this book will go in which is the problem. Is it a BDSM erotica romance read with emphasis on the SM or a horror mystery intrigue adventure paranormal read that includes erotica. Regardless, I won't be reading any further to find out.

I was so prepared to give this book my glowing 5 star rating and recommendation until I discovered the marketing ploy to buy the follow ups to this. That basically angered me with the result that I caution anyone who reads this that yes it's really really good but not to the point of spending the money that it would take to get the whole story. Just sayin'

This is my review for the entire series. Some installments were 3 stars and some were 4, making this a very enjoyable series!!

"Don't think it has gone unnoticed. For almost two months, you have come to perch like a little bird at the bar and peer at me through the mirror. As if I would not notice...as if you thought you were safe. You were wrong."

Sara
bar fly

OMG, Sara has got it bad. She's broke, desperate, and hiding from her abusive ex. She visits this expensive restaurant daily at lunch time, orders a virgin drink, just to stare at her obsession. He's large, and sexy as hell. His suits are finely tailored, and he wreaks of power. When Mr. Big and Sexy comes to her aid one day, Sara doesn't realize that the desire she feels for him is mutual.

"The taste of your desire has been distracting me every day for weeks, the scent of you filling my thoughts. What is about to happen will hurt...yes, it will. But you have asked me for it each and every day."

Braze
Braze

Braze is enamored with Sara, jet setting her around the world in order to be alone with her. His desire for her overwhelms him.

jet
I was taught that no matter how famished one might be, it is only proper to awaite the lady's pleasure and not drink until she does, nor eat until she does. But, I must admit that my hunger is near to overwhelming my better judgement"

It was a castle straight out of a fairy tale. Heavy stone walls that rose to turrets framed against the night sky.
castle

Braze is a rich and powerful man. He has many secrets and secret desires. Once he had Sara in the bowels of his castle, and manacled to his bed, he introduced her to a passion she had never experienced.

But, know this... I will never let anyone hurt you. Do you understand me? Never. Take those fears and set them aside forever, for they serve nothing. The pain I shall bring you is one to be shared between us like the finest wine. A thing to be savored and not like some brute in search of proof of his own manhood while wielding crude leather.

As an Alpha wolf, Braze is also a control freak, but his feelings for Sara come thru in how he accepts her into his life, even as he fights for his life and his freedom from an evil being.

A lot of questions I had at the end of Divine Fornication-The Complete Collection, were answered in this sequel/ spinoff series. I had a ton more questions towards the end of this book. I am hopeful that these questions will be answered in the next installment. I am usually not a fan of books that leave me with tons of questions. I tend to feel frustrated when I don't get closure, which is how I felt at the end of this book. I enjoyed this book immensely but the ending left me feeling lost enough that I asked Aimélie Aames a few questions and she was kind enough to answer them.

Apparently the previous two books, Divine Fornication-The Complete Collection and Her Billionaire, Her Wolf The Novel, are just part of a larger epic tale, with more books to come.

So far, I have loved the characters. These feel more like mini adventures with a love story as a bonus. Braze was such a badass that I was looking forward to him falling hard. And he did. He showed his feelings for Sara in Everything he did.
Will you do that? Will you wait for me?"

I have been waiting all my life for you...

love

This was an amazing paranormal adventure, with vampires pitted against werewolves. It was action packed with abductions, gruesome murders, and fight scenes. I couldn't put this book down.

I would have been ready to give this book 4 if not 5 stars, I was completely enthralled with this book.......until it suddenly ended on a cliffhanger at 60%. And then gives an excerpt into the next book Part 2. Lust and Lies that ends at 83%. Its a good thing I had gotten this book as a freebie or else I would have been really ticked. The next books are each 2.99. And are likely just as short. This is a horrible marketing ploy and has completely ruined the fact that this was a great story.........a story that I will not continue.

This is my first encounter with this particular author, and while the story doesn't reach great heights, I found value in it nonetheless. The narrative presents a surface-level exploration of its characters, leading us to understand not so much who they truly are, but rather what they desire most in life. This creates an intriguing dichotomy, as the circumstances oscillate between feeling both plausible and highly improbable. The female lead, in particular, comes across as rather naive; her understanding seems limited solely to her own struggles with poverty, leaving much of her potential untapped.

Set against the backdrop of a bustling restaurant, the story unfolds in a way that distinguishes it from typical billionaire romances.

The protagonist, Sara, finds herself captivated by a striking figure whom she observes daily. For the last two months, her lunch breaks have been consumed with studying the enigmatic man who occupies a secluded booth, seemingly lost in his own world while the restaurant hums with life around him. The din of clinking glasses and whispered conversations provides a peculiar comfort, allowing her to indulge in the fantasy of who he might be without ever knowing.

Sara believes she is invisible in her mundane existence, safely hidden among the throngs of people who come and go, convinced that no one pays her any heed. Little does she know how wrong she is.

Fate intervenes, bringing their lives together in a way that ignites an instinctual, animalistic attraction. This fervent connection is both exhilarating and confusing for Sara. Yet, as the narrative unfolds, it becomes clear that the reality she steps into is just the tip of the iceberg. Unbeknownst to her, there are darker, shadowy figures orchestrating events behind the scenes, and the manipulation of Sara Renardine is only beginning. As secrets unravel and true intentions come to light, the story gains an edge that promises to challenge everything Sara thought she understood about herself and her desires.

I just don't really understand this book. so obviously with the title I was expecting a different book. I've read romance, paranormal, bdsm etc. But I just couldn't get into it. It didn't really seem complete to me & I couldn't get thru it.

The author threw in some unnecessarily difficult words and a few times I felt like she was trying to be really artsy. There were many scenes I liked but I still remained confused and felt myself skipping parts to try and get to a part that might explain WTH was going on. But I never found any answers. so I gave up.

Like an addiction Sara finds herself watching the man she noticed two months ago every day at lunch. Today is different though when another customer disturbs her peace, and she finds herself on a path she won't be able to control.

I was a bit confused by this one, it is a series but I just couldn't wrap myself around what actually happened other than he is a dominant character. I am a bit curious about what happens, but not sure if I will pick up the others.

I really had high hopes but after about 20 pages I had to force myself to keep reading thank god it was so short.

This could have been a amazing book and had all the right signs but its just lacking in so many ways, I've read lots of BDSM book and paranormal romances and this is stuck somewhere in limbo.

well, Sara was horny for the white shirted dish at the bar. she watched him from afar but he had noticed her too. I was very disappointed, it didn't flow easily, big words were thrown in unexpectedly which didn't help. I wanted more but them what felt like less than 2/3rd through the book ended abruptly! to me not worth getting, luckily it was free

Confusing, Unbelievable, And Incomplete

This is NOT as advertised! There are 2 scenes which leave Sara feeling .....off. She's been watching "HIM" for 2 months mooning over him during her lunch break. After having her drink spilled on her, "HIM" rescues her and within several hours these 2 scenes transpire. She goes back to her temporary home to find a package and the weirdest note. You have to get another book to continue the weirdness. This one was basically 3 chapters, so I can imagine one would have to buy several in order to get the full story. Seems underhanded ! What little is in these pages left me confused. The whole blip was unbelievable. And since it was so short, it's incomplete and leaves you with a cliffhanger. Soooooo NOT worth it! 🤬

Unfortunately I paid for this convoluted rubbish.
Doesn’t flow, ends abruptly then gives you some of the next book.
Feels all over the place and totally jigsawed.
Heroine is u der a vampires control.
Hero is an alpha type who has treats the heroine very weirdly, then has sexual relations with other women whilst supposedly saving the heroine. WTF.
Have reviewed this book previously but review is missing.

Glad it was free

Overall, I didn't like this novella. There were too many grammar mistakes and those really threw me off my reading flow. The story was dragging for me and I was not excited to read more. I was more wishing it'd be over soon. Definitely will not be purchasing the rest of these novellas.

Seeking to be of high literary writing, this erotic work also delves into a BDSM kink zone. In addition, at least two other genres peek through the layers of the plot to tickle our curiosity to keep reading. There are four segments to the story, but a full-length compilation is also available. I may acquire it at some point. So far, it's has me intrigued.

So short...

Seems more like a novela. Barely got in to the story before it ended and there was no real plot that followed through. While I love a good cliff hanger for a series, there did not see to be a set story line for this book specifically.

I went thought a period when I didn't have much money and I read a bunch of erotica that was free from amazon. I don't remember this but it is the type of thing I read at the time. Too bad it is only the first part of the serial that was free. I never read the rest.

Enticing. A great set up with some hot scenes. But the story definitely leaves you wanting to know what is going on. Though it is a little annoying having to buy each book when they are so short.

Sara goes into a bar that is close to her work place during her lunch hour for the last few months, she sits in the same place every lunch hour at the bar in front of the bar mirror so she can sit staring at a guy who sits in a booth by himself everyday.

After an incident involving a rude man and a Bloody Mary ruins Sara's silk shirt the lone guy forces the rude man to apologise to Sara and tells him to leave, after this the guy takes Sara to the managers office, kicks some guy out of the office and starts to search for a new shirt but he doesn't find one but Sara realises that the guy owns the bar. Sara and the mysterious guy end up getting it on.

The guy who's name Sara still didn't know, takes her back to where she works but she doesn't go back to work he takes her all the way up to the top floor and introduces her to his receptionist and he gets her to order Sara a new shirt and he leaves.

After the shirt arrives Sara goes into a conference room and changes and waits for the guy to come back, she sits in the room for hours before he comes back and when he does they get at it again even tho Sara is angry at him for leaving her waiting.

After Sara leaves the office a car pulls up next to her sent by the mysterious guy she gets in and it takes her home. When she gets home she finds a strange letter and a lot of money on the floor of her room.

It's an addictive read that kind of leads to a let down. You buy all the books just to find out what's going to happen. Got all the way to the end and wondered what the big deal was. Braze is okay but I expected to see more of his bad side. Sara's a wuss and easily led around by her nose. Has a great build up even like the brother although his name could have been something a little different it just didn't go with the rest of the family. Nash the father, Braze the alpha, Clement the supposedly dead brother. Nope not working. It was okay She did a great job with giving back stories on her vampires although the Nephilim angle has been done in an angle series by another author. I could definitely see some that work here. I like Daniel for an old guy he's very funny. The bad guy was kind of disappointing I expected more from someone named Journeymen.
Oh and the main characters never really get to know each other. Braze never really talks about his father. I read all the stories because I hate not finishing. They seem to magically jump straight into love after nothing but sex. She also ends with one thing and starts the other books with something totally different.

Overall: Kind of frustrating!

I'm not sure what to think about this book. I like the idea of the tall, darkly brooding stranger stepping in to rescue someone who's being bullied but I'm not sure about the whole dominance through pain thing. I can get behind it if it's mutual but Sara seems more enthralled by him than into a little bdsm. At this point, I feel like I don't know enough about either character to feel comfortable with what they're starting, relationship wise. However, I do expect that we'll learn more about them and their choices as the series continues so I'm not writing them off yet.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I liked the overall story enough to wonder what's going to come next. This first installment definitely ended on a cliffhanger and without much resolution, so if that bothers you, make sure you have book 2 ready for consumption before starting.

The first half of this was good, if a little cliche. The poor girl who nabs the billionaire's eye has been done and done again. Unfortunately the whole thing fell apart when it took a drastic left turn from its plot up to that point and then just ended at 60%. (The remaining 40% appeared to be a preview of the next instalment. I didn't bother reading it.) I'm sorry, but that shit pisses me off. This is not a complete story. It doesn't end on a cliffhanger, it ends on an incompletion. I was left with more questions than answers and there were more open threads than closed....wait, there were no tied up threads. NONE. At a stretch it could be considered the first chapter of a longer work, but if you take that route then you're faced with having to pay for each and every chapter. No. I refuse. The author can obviously write. I have no complaints in that department, but I will not be continuing this series.

This was well written it had me where I wanted to read it but it left me dangling in order to buy another book. Also apparently there are books before this that you have to read in order to know what is really going on. I don't read reviews before I read a book I make the assumption that the Author will place a book number on it or tell in the summary if I should read a book before. On Amazon it says nothing about Book #1 it just reads the Title. If you like buying Novellas then this is a great story although I like females to be stronger Sara started out good but faded in the end. But Braze well he is HOT ALPHA for sure.

Was great...until halfway through, then the author lost me.

It was a great story (even though far fetched) until about 60% into it. That's when the story line seemed to take a different direction. It seemed to me like she tried to meld two (completely different) story concepts together...but left not only her readers confused, but somehow the characters of the story seemed to be completely thrown off as well.

I suppose it will all make sense when the story continues in book two. But in the mean time, I'm confused.

Honestly, I'm not sure if I want to read the next part of this story.

Generally I like a story where the man goes after a woman and will stop at nothing to make her his. This one however had me running in the other direction. He treated her with no respect and by putting up with waiting for him for hours with no idea what she was waiting for. I am an impatient person myself so if you tell me to wait in another room for you but you don't show after an hour then I am out of there. Come look for me when you are done. Sorry to say but I don't think I will be continuing this series.
