I grabbed this book because my 1.5-year-old son loves lions and cats and it turned out to be a great choice for him. Though we never read any of the information together, he really liked looking at all the pictures of the different kinds of cats and requested this book often. I would have liked to spend time actually reading about everything, but even without reading at all, I could just glance at the page and figure out where the cat was from and some major features about each one. My only wish was that there were more photographs- most of the pictures were pencil drawings. This would probably be a great source for a young elementary school project about wildcats.
