Fae-Witch #3

The Secret Trinity: Reign

Rate this book
For Aria Darwin, playing with fire has become a way of life, not because her powers have finally been unearthed, but because she’s drawn to the dormant light sparking behind Clay’s eyes. With every move towards that light, she risks her title as Queen. Even though she’s terrified of getting burned by the backdraft, Aria can’t seem to ignore the tempered blaze buried in her heart.

After a disturbing vision, Aria withholds a deadly secret in order to protect her Kingdom. Her people, her friends, not even Clay knows the truth as she makes peace with her destiny. Aria is looking to the future but the past keeps haunting her dreams, and she fears that the cost to defeat her enemy will be a much greater sacrifice than her soul.

This was my favorite of the series...Aria's growth finally shows and I loved the scenes between her and Clay working out their issues. I liked Aria more in this book then in the previous two. I was glad to see Aria chase Clay for a change and finally trying to look at situations beyond her own point of view.

As Queen, she needed to get beyond her self and try and do what was needed for her people. Her relationship with Clay is the best thing for her people as well as her, but she is still fighting it in the beginning. She spent so much time wanting Clay to confess to her when it was her feelings and secrets that was holding everything back.

I was hoping the Kayla and Adam would have picked up with the flirting that they started back in the first book.

Overall a good series and I loved Clay!

This is the conclusion of the Fae-Witch Trilogy. Aria Darwin must come up with a plan before her new found people are destroyed. The more she learns the more her heart aches to help the people she has come to love. New powers and abilities are emerging, Ari is unsure of her relationship with Clay, their enemy is getting stronger every day and her very soul is on the line.

Wow, what a fabulous ride the Fae-Witch Trilogy has provided. From start to finish, I was glued to the pages.

Excellent ending

This was a perfect ending to a great series. Ari has a brother who was taken from her parents when they were killed. He was raised by the Famorii. He had no idea and she stumbled on it by pure accident. Well....She got him back. Then amidst turmoil during a meeting, declared herself queen and scheduled her own coronation. It was priceless.

But Liam is perfecting the spell that will break her bond with Clay, and then he will own her. The witches have been trying different spells to counter his and release the prisoners he has, but so far, no luck. Her only thought is to protect her people, even if that means turning herself over to Liam.

Will Ari survive the next round of attacks from Liam? Will she lose her soul and become his puppet?? Good question.

Self sacrifice is a common theme with heroes, especially when it comes to saving your entire race along with loved ones. Absolutely loved the vivid descriptions of the Trinity light and power along with the attention to detail concerning binding and the seats. Two brothers reuniting briefly was also a nice touch. This trilogy has made for a great weekend read. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

Aria is tired of running and now it’s time to fight. She can’t stand back when the people that she cares about are in danger. She will kill Liam if it’s the last thing that she does. No ones else seems to agree with her so she has to do it by herself. That didn’t turn out to great and it backfires and she barely escapes with her life. Back in Draíochta and Aria will finally take charge and be queen while also trying to find out how to talk to Clay. He as been keeping secrets and she wants him to tell her before she outs him herself. And if Aria doesn’t kill Liam it could be the end of Draíochta and everyone that she loves. Things get eve more complicated in the final book of the Fae-Witch series.

It’s time for Aria to reign in her powers and take over.

This was the perfect ending to a perfect series. I loved every single one of these books and they kept getting better each time. This one is by far my favorite. Aria strikes out on her own only to end up caught and thankfully gets rescued by someone she thought was lost for good. She realizes that she does need the help of her friends and together they can overcome Liam. She knows how to harness her powers now, but there are still some surprises in store. We learn more about her friends and there powers. They are pretty great friends and would do anything for Aria. As per usual there are some tough decisions to make in this one and not all of the choices Arai chooses is the best. Also Liam is totally lost it. When Aria finds out what he is doing to become so powerful, she gets sick. I do too, how in the world you could do that I have no idea. It’s just wrong and that’s when Aria knows there is no help for him. It’s kinda a hard to destroy him when ever one wants to do it a different way. Hopefully they’ll make a decision before it’s too late.

Aria- She is pretty awesome in this one. She uses her powers a lot more and there is a lot more action....with clay that is. J I love her determination and her ability to take on things she is not even ready for.

Clay- He is possibly the best secret keeper ever. He never even hits at what he is hiding, even though Aria already knows what it is. He is closed off, but that shortly ends at one point in the book. I just simply love him.

Clay and Ari I miss you. I will miss you. I am always sad when a series ends; it is such a bitter sweet moment. I love that Jenna concluded this one well in my mind, and I got the closure. I still though want to know more. In saying that I will just say Thanks Jenna Bernel, I have enjoyed the story.

In the beginning of book three, we pick right up where we left off. We are trying to find a spell to break the binding spells. Ari has all her trusty sidekicks, aka friends helping her along. They need to stop Liam. Clay of course is being stubborn to any plan that involves any type of potential harm to Ari. In a twist Jeremy and Clay are on the same mind set here. Which reading the books you know rarely happens. I laughed out loud at times; I love the banter with Clay and Ari. It is great!
Ari is still keeping secrets from Clay and Clay from her. Gosh why cant these two crazy kids just stop fighting this? Stubborn! I think that is why they are perfect for one another, stubbornness runs in their bones. Ari does have a lot on her shoulders; someone is trying to destroy her soul. Clay is her soul keeper and he has not told her. (She cannot even process what will happen to him if she dies) Her brother is under house arrest. Oh and did I mention she is a Queen and has no faith in herself. She knows it is just a matter of time before Liam finds her and the visions and nightmares are not helping.

This book has it all action, jealousy, secrets and true love. Mysteries from other Queens are revealed. The secrets will knock your socks off and leave you with a wow. I just honestly really enjoyed all three books. I loved the growth in the stories and the author. Each book was better than the last. I am looking forward to what Jenna has for us next. Read it, love it, and review!!

I'm actually glad it's over, because I could take this light-hearted predictable and cheesy plot only for so long. I got into this series, knowing it would be predictable and not exactly something that would make me turn the pages until 4 in the morning, but still... In the end, it was an effort for me to finish it. There's only so much cheesy story lines I can take, okay? And the way that the main character Ari kept being a fool about the way Clay felt about her... Omg she's 18, you cannot be that dense? Yeah, so where I was able to tolerate this stuff in the first book, somewhat less so in the second book, here it really annoyed me and made me want to quite reading. The only reason I finished it, is because I was nearing the end and I kinda wanted to know what happened now. But boy, am I glad I was able to close the book on this series.

Perfect for summer, but this last installment can really annoy you. Beware!

For a series that started out with me finding it hard to buy into the crazy circumstances surrounding three best friends, it sure ended with me hooked and totally invested in all three of them. Oh how I wish this wasn't the last book in the series. I've grown to really enjoy spending time in Ari's World and wish there was more to the story. The ending had a finality to it, but there's definitely opportunity for the author to go back and revisit the lives of the main characters if she decides to. Here's hoping...

Jenna does it again in the third book of the 'Fae-Witch Trilogy'. "The Secret Trinity: Reign" picks up where the second book left off and completes the series with a fantastic ending. With plenty of action, romance and emotions, you will have a hard time putting the book down. I highly recommend the whole series to all magickal, fantasy, romance fan....well to everyone!

A fantastic close to a great series. Ari and Clay kick ass together in this one, as Ari claims her throne to queen. Laws are changed, loves are found, and all the secrets are revealed. I'm so glad that I pushed past the first part of the first book, when I was close to not finishing. this turned into a wonderful read all the rest the way through. Loved this book. I recommend for anyone who likes a good YA paranormal read.

I LOVED IT!!! I LOVE IT WHEN THERE IS A SURPRISE IN THE ENDING, WHEN YOU ARE EXPECTING ONE THING TO HAPPEN AND SOMETHING ELSE DOES, AS I SAID IN THE LAST BOOK, ARI IS SUCH A STONG CHARACTER AND CLAY JUST MAKE HER SO MUCH MORE, CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE BOOK! LOOKING FORWARD TO READING MORE FROM JENNA!!!

Third and final book in the series, I feel it ended well. I do think it felt a bit rushed at the very end, but then again I really dislike saying 'good-bye' to fun Characters and Clay and Ari were definitely fun.

I also read this book in 1 sitting ... that just tells you how good it was.

I loved the ending, and I thought it was perfect. I'm sad to see the characters go, but it was perfect. I loved how Ari grew as a character, coming into her power and her position. Clay showed growth too. I just thought it was perfect.

Awesome

I love the way this was told. Still want to slap Ari upside the head most of the time, but loved it anyways. There were a few editing errors but not enough to ruin the flow. I love the whole soul keeper concept and what happened with Ari.

Best book of the series however has some major holes when Aris parents completely disappear from the storyline and then turn up at the end. More editing issues.
