For those of us who have a hard enough time finding time for our photography, finding time for a workshop or conference can be really challenging! This book is designed for people like me and it was very informative. Some things I knew, some things I learned and some things I'm going to try! Great pictures were scattered throughout. What I really appreciated were the creative assignments at the end of the book. Homework can be fun!

This was a great gift! I read this book in conjuction with my camera's instructions and was able to improve my abilities to take wildlife and nature photos. Note that the book mentions "baiting" as a means to take some photos and that goes against my personal ethics. Other than that, I recommend the book to anyone who wants to know more about photography.

Another great book for new DSLR users. Lots of tips and guidance for nature photos, like "gardening" before you take flower pics etc and does and don't s on handling animals etc.
