Many great trips for adventure in Oregon are detailed here.
I was just at Wildlife Images near Grants Pass yesterday, and really enjoyed it. Have been to the Rice Museum several times to admire their gems, rocks, and crystals.
I will be going back into the Tillamook Forest soon to hunt for fall mushrooms. Still plan on making it to that pack-rat heaven Three Mile Museum on my way west!
I was also recently at Cape Perpetua, Sunset Bay, Shore Acres, and Cape Arago.
Also on tap for this fall is the Covered Bridges Scenic Bikeway.
I've enjoyed Silver Falls and Wildlife Safari. Stayed for several days at the beautiful Diamond Lake, not far from Crater Lake.
Love all the ideas and trips! Some more personal touches (my son did this, the family did that) are not my cuppa, but I think those with kids would appreciate it, and I don't think it distracted too greatly from the accounts of the outings. :)
