Murder and mystery befall the sleepy town of Whisper Cape once again, creating suspicion and betrayal around every corner...
Gerry has loved Maia from the very first moment he laid eyes on her. Now that she's pregnant with his child, he's over the moon with happiness. Likewise, Maia is overjoyed about having a baby with the man she loves. But when she starts seeing and hearing visions of an old woman who warns her about the pregnancy, Maia starts to think she is losing her mind. Unfortunately, her nightmare has only just begun.
A talented up-and-coming rock band has come to town to play at Gerry's bar, and the beautiful and seductive lead singer has her sights set on Gerry, determined to rekindle an old flame. Despite their history, Gerry wants nothing to do with Careen, but she doesn't like to be told no. Between her interference and the secrets and lies abundant in Whisper Cape, a love once considered invincible begins to crumble and fall apart. Will Maia and Gerry get the happily ever after they so desire?
This story continues in Tame the Flame, Book 3 of the Sectorium Series.
Reflect the Flame, Book 2 the Sectorium Series was previously published as Reflections, and has been given a new title and new cover to better manifest the true spirit of the book.
When I finished WHISPER CAPE, I immediately asked the author if she was working on another and it would become a series. She told me yes, and it would be about Maia & Gerry. I was so excited and now, REFLECTIONS does not disappoint! This second book chronicles the challenges faced by this loving couple--a mystery from Gerry's past, a supernatural stalker and a shocking murder--all while they try to sort out their evolving feelings and future. Previously loved characters Addie & Cael are around to join in all the fun!
This book is not merely a sequel to Whisper Cape that focuses on a different set of characters. In fact, it continues the story of Addie and Cael almost as much as it gives us a very up-close-and-personal view of the lives, love and paranormal goings-on Gerry and Maia experience in their own story. A new band of characters, literally, is introduced as well as a couple of new familial connections.
Fans of the first book in this series are going to love this sequel; to new readers, I recommend you begin with Whisper Cape and immerse yourself in the world Griscom (writing as Regan Walsh) has created and her likeable characters you find yourself caring for almost immediately.
I finished the book last night. It was another page-turner, I had a hard time putting it down to go to sleep. The plot had a lot of great twists and turns; your character development showed great depth and it induced very strong emotions in me as a reader. I am now on the edge of my seat to read the next one, as this one was a cliffhanger ending.

But Maia's nightmare has only just begun...

~My Review~
In this second installment of (Whisper Cape, Book 2)Regan Walsh takes us on a new journey with Gerry and Maia. Uncle and Aunt to Addison. We still get all the right doses of Addie and Cael, but a bigger focus is put forth on Gerry and Maia. Gerry decides he wants a platform built in his bar for a music entertainment group. He hires his buddies from his past. No one is prepared for the fiery woman from his past. Careen Faraday is now the girlfriend of Gerry's buddy and the lead singer in the band. Careen has no intentions of leaving Gerry alone.... she wants him back! This leads to many problems and forces Gerry and Maia to be on their toes. This woman is NOT to be trusted.
Gerry and Maia are expecting twins and are deeply in love. Maia starts seeing an old woman that begins warning her about her pregnancy. Maia will discover as to why this woman keeps showing up at the craziest times. She will discover some new found truths.
Addie still struggles with the idea of having a baby with Cael. He wants this more than life its self, but Addie is still so unsure. There is a turning point in this paranormal romance. Once you almost lose it all.... will Addie have to face the undeniable... WHAT IF?
I was thrown for a major loop readers. Regan Walsh threw an ending in there that I actually did NOT see coming. It made my stomach knot up and my mouth hanging wide open. She brings the best suspense and emotionally raw feelings to life. I am hooked on this amazing series and in dire need of book three!
REFLECTIONS by Susan Griscom is book 2 in the Whisper Cape series. It picks up where book one left off, but in this instance, the focus is on Maia and Gerry's relationship. This series has to be read in order, as failure to do so would leave readers confused.
I enjoyed book one and was looking forward to the journey in book 2. The author did not disappoint as the story met my expectations. I personally thought it was better than its predecessor. The only problem I had with this installment was the ending which left me wanting more. I am not a big fan of cliff-hangers, however, my consolation is that book 3 is available, so I don't have long to wait to find out how events will eventually unfold.
I was first introduced to Maia and Gerry in book one. I was intrigued by them and was happy to discover that I would be learning more about them in this installment. Maia is pregnant with twins. She is happy yet terrified, which is due to the risks that she faces from the pregnancy. Added to this she has to be dealing with feelings of jealousy and insecurities as it relates to Gerry's ex-girlfriend, who is determined at all cost to win him back. This is more than any woman can manage. However, Maia being the strong woman that she is did not allow the fear and feelings of insecurities and jealousy to dominate her life.
When I had first met Gerry I did not trust him. However, I came to realise that his main fault was his tendency to be overprotective, which came off as a bit overbearing at times. In this installment, I learned about his past and the events that shaped him into the man he became. The reappearance of his ex-girlfriend was a shocker, but he was determined that she would not destroy what he had with Maia.
I liked the interaction between Maia and Gerry. It was easy to relate to the experiences and issues they encountered on a daily basis. I enjoyed the world of fantasy that the author created and I loved how she accurately linked the title with events in the story.
New characters were added to the mix which made things rather interesting. The story was engaging and I found it difficult to put down. The story dealt with the issue of jealousies and secrets. It had the perfect blend of mystery, romance, and drama.
This was a wonderful addition to the series and I can't wait to see what book three has to offer.
Just Your Average Day in Whisper Cape, October 23, 2012
This review is from: REFLECTIONS (Whisper Cape, Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
Just another average day in Whisper Cape? I don't think so!
There's nothing average about some of the inhabitants in Whisper Cape, like that adorable and dynamic duo, Addie and Cael, the starring cast from book one in the Whisper Cape Series. There's a very secret society of people with special abilities, and so many surprises in that first installment, I couldn't wait to read Susan Griscom's newest release, Reflections, part two of the Whisper Cape Series, to discover what she'd conjured up this time around.
To my delight, Ms. Griscom jumped right back into the magical action that began in book one and took off running with another sensual, paranormal suspense so well, it made me smile with joy. So many times I've read a series that lapsed, repeated, or just plain disappointed me--THAT definitely does not happen here!
Two characters the author basically introduced in book one are back as the stars of the show in Reflections, Maia MacKenna and her soul mate, tavern-owner extraordinaire, Gerry. Maia is pregnant and Gerry is just about to burst with love and pride. Life just doesn't get any better than this, he's thinking--except they are both in store for quite a few surprises!
Like a child who may have inherited Gerry's abilities to enter people's memories, have other abilities, or maybe none at all...
Is marriage on the horizon for these two, now that Maia carries "precious cargo", as an unknown, elderly lady points out in the beginning of Reflections? And just who is this elderly woman, anyway? She certainly shows up enough, speaking her mind to Maia... And do Cael and Addie marry as well, or will they be separated by paranormal forces beyond their control? You will have to read Reflections to find out. Like I've said before in other reviews, I never read and tell!
Ms. Griscom weaves such a unique blend of characterization and imaginative skills to share a splendid story, I wanted to scream with frustration when I finished reading Reflections. If there isn't a sequel for this in the future, I just may have to 'transport' myself over to the West coast and pay Susan Griscom a personal visit!
One more thing: I'm a mighty picky reader when it comes putting my own work aside to read other authors' work. I assure you, Susan Griscom's prose was well worth my time. Hats off to you, Susan!
This was amazing and I want to thank Susan Griscom for gifting me a copy! I've been looking forward to this book since I bought and read Whisper Cape and it didn't disappoint. It was great to learn more about Gerry and Maia. The last book, being Addie and Cael's, focused on Addie and Cael with only a little input into Gerry and Maia but this book was Gerry and Maia's, meaning we got to learn more about Gerry's past and how he discovered his ability.
I loved getting insight into Maia's mind as well, she really is an amazing character. It has ended on a major Cliffhangar for me, everything has been settled nicely for Maia and Gerry (minus one little detail which I can see possibly coming back on them in the future) but for Addie and Cael a new obstacle has been thrown at them and I can't wait for the next book to see how they overcome it and fix things.
I also have to say I don't like or trust Aiden. Something about him puts me off though it may just be that he wants Addie and to me is looking for ways to come between her and Cael. Cael's missing 10 minutes and he's already moving in on her! I wouldn't be surprised if he let Cael disappear and be affected at the end so he could try and take Addie from him! I hope it won't be a long wait for book three cause I need to know what's happened to Cael! I also want to see the twins born! Hopefully they'll find Cael, fix him and have him and Addie reunited before the twins are born! I wonder if Breena will have anything to do with fixing Cael when they find him? She seems to be developing new abilities and growing stronger? To me she (along with Addie) could be key to making things right again.
***Edit*** I have now had the pleasure of listening to the audio book of Reflections! Again I love the narration, so easy to listen to! I would definitely recommend the audiobook version of the story as well as the written!
Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha - Michelle L. Olson: *eARC received from the Author in exchange for an honest review
I loved Whisper Cape, and was very excited to see where Susan took us in book #2. It definitely lived up to my expectations. Reflections was another fabulous installment in the Whisper Cape series - suspenseful, romantic, full of heart, and that ending... It couldn't have left me wanting the next book more than it did.
Where Whisper Cape introduced us to Cael, Addie and the world of the extraordinary, Reflections concentrates on Maia (Addie's aunt) Gerry (Maia's man), and their upcoming bundle of joy. The storyline is intense, surprising, and filled with emotion. There were a lot of real world insecurities explored in this book and it somehow made it feel more 'real' even in the wonderful magical world that Susan has created for the Whisper Cape series.
LITERAL ADDICTION gives Reflections 4 1/2 Skulls and would recommend it to Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance readers far and wide. I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment of the series!
I was more than excited when the author offered the chance to read as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I loved book 1 in the whisper cape series and was beyond ready for book 2. The storyline did not disappoint. We are again taken back to whisper cape and all the characters we fell in love with in book 1. Reflections centers around Maia and Gerry, their relationship, the babies on the way, but of-course you need a bad guy/girl to come ruffle some feathers, in walks Careene. She's an old girlfriend of Gerry's, and after all these years wants him back and will stop at nothing to get it. Addie and Cael are still a big part of book 2, and we just love them even more. This book dealt not only with all the "powers" on whisper cape and its people, but lots of everyday feelings and emotions. Truly enjoyed it, the ending was hard, but it just keeps me wanting more, hopefully we don't have to wait too long. Great read, really enjoyed it.
This story doesn't just have one romance happening but two at the same time, as Addie and Cael from book 1 are main characters alongside Gerry and Maia in this book, too. This plot is totally engaging and it just captivated my attention throughout. So much passion and drama are within these pages that you will find yourself laughing and crying and yelling as you read. It has everything you could want in a book: humor, romance, horror, mystery. The story had quite a few interesting twists. It was truly an adventure! The author really makes you feel like you are in Whisper Cape and experiencing all of it.
I will happily recommend this book to anyone interested in this type of story, quite simply it is just a great story and I am left wondering what happens next. It's a good thing I've just picked up book 3!
I loved the first book in this series. While the second book was different than the first, it did not disappoint in excitement. I literally could not put it down to see what was going to happen next.
The romance focus of this book was on Maia and Gerry, Addie's Aunt and Uncle. Maia, pregnant with twins, finds her life in danger. In addition, she is coming into powers of her own. Okay, so I loved Gerry and his foul mouthed tirades. He cracked me up. And Maia was a strong heroine who matched well with Gerry.
I would highly recommend this read if you like your paranormal romance mixed with suspense. It was a great read! Also, there is a suspense filled ending that will leave you clamoring for book number 3!
I began reading this book the second in the series within moments of finishing the first, which was literally like like 2 am. I wasn't since Maia wasn't a strong presence in the first book I wasn't expecting to be drawn in as quickly as I was during the first book but boy was I wrong. The characters are so full of life, the town is so real and the story is very creative that I wouldn't never had guessed what was going on. Without giving away any spoilers i will say that this book let my sobbing. I was so heart-broke and scoured the internet for the third book to see what happens so please please finish writing this one. I also hope to see books. in the future so we can meet twins. Love love love this book
Gerry has loved Maia from the very first moment he laid eyes on her and now that she's pregnant with his child, he's over the moon with happiness. Likewise, Maia is overjoyed about having Gerry's baby, but when she starts seeing and hearing an old woman who warns Maia about the pregnancy, Maia starts to think she is losing her mind. But Maia's nightmare has only just begun...Amazon review This was a great read - very spooky. It's the second in a series and I am happy to read more of them, ideal holiday reading.
I thought that I had enjoyed Whisper Cape and was looking forward to reading more about Addie and Cael. But Reflections continues the story, but more about Maia and Gerry. Once again the author has brought out intense characters and really made it easy for us to relate to them and like them. The author has brought continued suspense and romance into this book. I really would like to recommend this series to those who have not read it yet. I am really looking forward to reading part 3 now!
Susan Griscom stops by Darkest Addictions for a Guest Post & a special sneak peak into her newest release, Reflections. At: Darkest Addictions
This was a much easier book for me to get into. I found the writing to be much for captivating and the characters better developed than they were in Whisper Cape.
Reflections dives into the story of Maia Mckenna, Addison's aunt, and her boyfriend Gerry. The couple find out they are having twins, but as Maia's pregnancy develops, she begins to hear and see things that others cannot, warning her about the pregnancy. And to add to the story, an old flame of Gerry's hell bent of having him back at all costs returns to Whisper Cape, creating turmoil for the expecting couple.
We were first introduced to Gerry and Maia in book one of the Whisper cape series, but we didn't really get much into their stories then. I found Maia's character to be much more interesting than Addie's, and I found, this time around why I happen to dislike her so much. In Reflections, we still get to see Cael and Addie, and I can honestly say, I really don't like Addison. She was much to childish, at least in my opinion. Maia however, was a better character I felt I could connect with. She'd just found out she was having twins, and it terrified her, because Addison's mother had died giving birth to her still born twin. And this, creates an inner turmoil for Maia; along with having to worry about the beautiful lead singer that will be performing at Gerry's bar, she also hears a voice that whispers warnings to her, but of what? she doesn't yet know.
Gerry was a lovable character, and I felt the poor guy was always in the wrong place at the wrong time. Having his own powers, he knows and worries that his baby would have the same abilities as he does, but is thrilled to become a father nonetheless. When Careen returns to his life, she begins to stir turmoil for him and Maia, things go awry for the once "perfect" couple. But Gerry is determined to keep Careen from ruining his relationship, and prove that the only woman for him, is the mother of his babies.
Add murder to relationship turmoil, and you've got a concoction for disaster, as suspicion plagues these characters. I loved the twists this story took throughout the book and I was glued to the pages at every step. Reflections was far better than it's predecessor, but what I could have done without was Addison's immaturity. I mean really, but otherwise a very fun read.
I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Honestly? I loved it! I read Whisper Cape first and didn't think the second book could possibly compare to the first one. It did, and then some! When I read the first book, I adored Addie and Cael, but was intrigued by Maia and Gerry's relationship. I'm so glad they were a bigger part of the second book.
Maia, although growing up surrounded by family with special abilities, had none... until she became pregnant with twins. her ability to speak to her future self gave me chills. I worried with her throughout the book, trying to figure out the future Maia's warnings alongside her, and shared her fears and victories. I finally got to understand Gerry a little better. He was a really hard character to figure out and I was very curious about him and his abilities, but most of all about his aversion to marriage. His foul mouth and big heart won me over big time :)
The new characters introduced into this series in this book are quite interesting. Aiden is so mysterious, I can't wait to learn more about him. Finn and Careen, well, the jury is still out on those two. I'm hoping for more interaction from these characters, as I have a feeling Aiden and Addie are going to have their own story line. The ending of this book hit me hard. I was so emotionally gripped by this book that it took me several days to get over so I could write this review.
This book has everything; mystery, murder, magic, betrayal, romance, suspense... gripping action that kept me turning pages long after I should have been in bed. I just simply could not put this book down! My only problem with this book is that I finished it before the next book in the series was finished! Of course that book is well underway, and I shouldn't have to wait long to get my fix! This book is a definite MUST READ, although I suggest reading Whisper Cape first. With the first one also being a must read, that shouldn't be a problem at all :)
Okay book 2 was no disappointment. Susan successfully took us on a journey with Gerry and Maia. I found Gerry to be a fantastic character this time around. I found myself laughing a lot throughout this whole story. Gerry had to have been a fun character for Susan to write. In Whisper Cape Gerry had a tendency to upset me when it came to Addie even though I knew he was only looking out for her, but in book 2 I fell in love with Gerry's character. Even though Cael still has my heart. ;) With A stalker and past coming back to haunt Gerry and Maia can they have a future together with the baby on the way or will their past destroy their futures. I am a spoiler free reviewer so you will have to get the book to find out . You will not be disappointed though. Susan will leave you begging for more. I will say that I loved the brief short time we spent in Scotland. It was beautifully written. I also love how Breena's character is developing I adore her and can not wait to read more on her. Hopefully Book 3 is right around the corner because it is going to kill me not knowing what is going to happen. Susan has left us with a very suspenseful ending. She knows how to tease us with the words she writes she always leaves us wanting and needing more of the mysterious town of Whisper Cape. Whisper Cape was originally supposed to be a stand alone but us readers would not let Susan do that we demanded more and she graciously gave us more. Only she has left us wanting more yet again. I think the small town Of Whisper Cape has more to tell us. I think we are in for a journey that will keep us intrigued. I think we are at the beginning of what can turn out to be a fantastic series with amazing characters.
**Please note, book was gifted by the author in exchange for an honest review**
Whisper Cape, sleepy town no more! Reflections is book 2 in the Whisper Cape series by Susan Griscom and first, let me just say, Aiden...I don't trust you as far as I can throw you but how u doin'?nonetheless. ;-P
Gerry and Maia have their entire future ahead of them. Both are over the moon about her pregnancy but even the strongest of couples can be tested and they are indeed tested. While Maia may not have any powers of her own, she is all too familiar with that "world" and grows increasingly concerned over voices, visions and warnings in regards to her pregnancy. At the same time, there is a bit of a strain on Addie and Cael's relationship. Cael wants children one day while Addie has fears.
I really liked the fast pace of this book. Gerry has some old buddies come to town to provide live music at his bar. With that band comes trouble, slutty, deceitful, makes u want to punch her in the throat kind of trouble. I warmed up to Gerry this time around. I wasn't all that fond of him in book 1 but now I'm sold. He's bone headed and so totally completely clueless when it comes to women, almost to the point where he should be studied. lol That being said, when he finally "got it", it was a beautiful thing.
Reflections is packed with murder, mystery, love, passion and a healthy dose of "WHERE THE HELL DID HE GO?!" that had me ready to pull my hair out, come on book 3. ;-)
Well first I need to wipe the tears from my eyes that arose from the ending of this book. Seriously Gerry, why did you have to think that thought!! (Sorry to anyone now trying to figure out what this means!)
Anyway this book picks up soon after the ending of the first book in the series, Whisper Cape, only this time the story centres more around Gerry and Maia although do not panic Addie and Cael are still very much a part of the story and the ending leads to them being very much a part of the 3rd book. Sorry, sorry for dropping all these hints but you will really not what me to say what happens for this to be the case do you!?!
Maia is pregnant with Gerry's babies, yes babies plural, and everything should be happy in their world but Gerry is still not committing in the way Maia secretly wants, she is hearing voices and seeing strange old women nobody else sees, oh and the cherry on top of the cake, Gerry's beautiful ex is back in town, Careen, and is eager to get her spiteful claws back into what she views as her man! When everything seems to be going right again Careen, in death (murder actually), comes along and blows everything up again with one of the characters being accused of her murder.
New characters are added with one being Aiden who looks to play an interesting role in book 3 if what Gerry suspects of his feelings for Addie are anything to go by, things look to be getting interesting!
Please note I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. In fact I love this series so much I have already bought and lined up book 3 to read from Amazon myself!! I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!!!!
Another amazingly written story by Susan Griscom. I loved the first book in this series and love Relfections just as much if not more. This book is full of drama and suspense like no other, its not you're average paranormal read, its got so much more.
In Reflections you get to know a little more about Maia and Gerry and their relationship, which is just as steamy as Cael's and Addison's. However, Maia is carrying twin, in fact identical twins which is can be dangerous, they worry even more so because of the experience of Addison's mom with her delivery of twins.
Gerry has some old friends show up in town, who have started a band. They are going to be playing at his bar, little did he know that is ex would be showing up and that she was the lead singer in the band. Gerry's ex, Careen is there to stir up trouble between Gerry and Maia.
With the added stress to her pregnancy, Maia has started hearing a voice, that seems to be warning her of thing, but Maia doesn't have abilities, which makes one wonder if these arent the abilities from her pregnancy and what abilities the babies may have.
Of course Cael and Addison are still hot and heavy.
I can't tell you too much more with out spoilers, and I am not too big of a fan of spoilers, so in order to find out more about reflections, you must read it.

OMG I did not see that ending coming. No way!! I need to know what happens next. My heart feels like it has been ripped out of my chest. What an awesome book! I absolutely love Whisper Cape and Reflections is now on my favorites list. I love that Cael and Addison are in this book and continue to play a huge role in the series. (Cael...Swoon)
In Reflections Maia and Gerry are front and center. We discover more about their relationship and how strong their love truly is when Gerry's evil, troublemaking ex girlfriend comes to town. I have to say, I wanted to smack this woman and make her leave town. I found myself fuming at her transparent tricks to try to belittle Maia and get Gerry Back. I do not like this woman at all. Anyway, with that being said, Gerry and Maia find themselves expecting not one baby but two babies. Maia starts hearing voices and seeing an old woman that no on else can see. This is only the beginning. This book has mystery that draws you in right from the start, hot steamy scenes and paranormal powers. Oh and did I mention Gerry is from Scotland and has a sexy accent? What more could you ask for?
Reflections is an awesome continuation of the Whisper Cape Series. I love this series so much. I highly recommend Whisper Cape (book 1) and Reflections (book 2) to anyone 18+ that loves a good paranormal romance. Awesome book Susan Griscom!!!
Reflections continues the story from Whisper Cape but this time it zeros in on the relationship of Addison's aunt, Maia, and Maia's love, Gerry. Maia and Gerry are expecting a baby, and Gerry is thrilled at becoming a father. But when Maia learns she is expecting twins, the anxiety begins, especially when she is plagued by cryptic messages from an old woman. Problems ensue when the beautiful lead singer from the band Gerry has hired sets her eyes on Gerry. And let's not forget Addie and Cael and the magical world they and Gerry belong to that stirs up problems once again in the quiet town of Whisper Cape.
Once again, author Susan Griscom delivers an intriguing paranormal suspense story that is also filled with sensual relationships between the characters. Her writing style is vivid, and it draws you into the story quickly and makes you want to keep reading to find out what is happening with these interesting characters she's created. Susan does an excellent job of continuing the story of Whisper Cape, and leaves you wanting for more. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys the paranormal/suspense/romance genre.
I really enjoyed this 2nd book in the Whisper Cape trilogy. This story centers around Maia and Gerry. Maia is pregnant with twins and while she has no abilities she starts to see visions of her future self. The future Maia has warnings for the current Maia that reveal a possible future that is very bleak. The nice thing about this book is it introduced us to a few new characters and it gave us a chance to look into the lives of two people who are a very big part of Cael and Addie's lives. I really enjoyed Aiden and I really hope to see more of him in the future, even if it's not in the Whisper Cape series, although I love Whisper Cape being an Oregon girl myself! The only thing I would have loved to see in this book was more of Gerry's abilities. We know when he got one of them but it turns out he has another one that really doesn't get a lot of explanation. This book is really a set up for one heck of a cliff hanger that involves Cael. I can't wait to read book number 3 and see how that turns out!
Received from Susan Griscom in exchange for an honest review Blog tour post 11.12.13
Book two in the Whisper Cape Trilogy. You definitely need to read these in order. Maia and Gerry are celebrating their pregnancy, but Maia is experiencing morning sickness, body-image issues, and … hallucinations? She is seeing an old woman who is giving her warnings to safeguard her precious cargo. Where has this woman come from? Is she real? Are her concerns legitimate?
Maia’s emotional turmoil is so true to my experience as a pregnant person. I imagine to most women. This was more than the story of her pregnancy. This is also a murder mystery and a look into what family means. Besides the story of Maia and Gerry, there is also Cael and Addie’s return from their extended vacation and Gerry’s friends from Scotland have arrived in town.
This was a wonderful fast-paced story. There was never a dull moment in reading this! I need to read the third book in this trilogy. Where is Cael?!
Recommended for: 18+ due to adult scenes (sex!) Grammar/editing: A – near perfect
Reflections is the 2nd book in the Whisper Cape trilogy. It focuses on Gerry and Maia, but Cael and Addison still play major roles in the story. All the characters that you get to know and love in book 1 are back in book 2 and some new characters get added in. The story was well written and interesting. The plot flowed smoothly and had some twists and turns. There was a lot of action and suspense. And the ending was so unexpected and such a shock - I needed to read book 3 immediately to see what happened next. I would definitely recommend this book to fans of paranormal romantic thrillers.
