Hapless FBI agent Freddy Malone is leading a dull existence, both personally and professionally. A handsome bartender and an artistic, sadistic killer are about to change all that. With the help of his partner and straight best friend, Freddy shakes himself out of his monotony, but can he successfully navigate a budding romance and catch a serial killer before another victim meets a gruesome end? Blending the genres of thriller, humor, horror, LGBTQ and crime noir, FATAL MUSE will keep you laughing and on the edge of your seat until the final paragraph.
Could have used another really good edit and the every other chapter thing came close to making me stop, but I like Freddy Malone, his best friends Rick and Kyoko, and Rick's lovely wife Em. I've started the next book in the series already ...
Intriguing and disturbing. This isn't the genre I usually read, but I really enjoyed it, and was drawn in from the start. I liked both the inner dialogue and the relationship between the characters. Looking forward to the next book!
