"Estrellas y Planetas" es la traducción del libro original "Starts and Planets" publicado por DK. Se trata de una completa guía sobre todas aquellas cuestiones relativas a la Astronomía y la observación del cielo. La obra está dividida en varias secciones: el cielo nocturno, herramientas y técnicas, el Sistema Solar, las estrellas y más allá, guía mensual del cielo y las constelaciones. Además, en la parte final del libro se pueden encontrar listas interesantes de astros y un glosario de términos.

Lo que más destaco positivamente de esta guía es su selección de ilustraciones e imágenes, así como la calidad en las explicaciones. A este respecto, pocas son las guías astronómicas que recogen información interesante sobre cómo configurar tu telescopio o los elementos de todas las constelaciones actuales (incluyendo el cielo austral). Sin lugar a dudas, se trata de un interesante recurso para cualquier persona apasionada en la astronomía u observación del cielo que desee profundizar mucho más sus conocimientos sobre la materia.

Not one of DK's best offerings. I wanted more in depth analysis of deep space. The majority of the book is about star watching--how to set up your telescope and star charts.
